Because kpop isn’t about music or versatility it’s about views, trends, popularity at the moment. IKON has made songs that convey feelings, memories in time and lyrics that are witty and get lost in other languages. It’s when they perform that they turn people into fans. When other groups perform it’s all about the perfect movements, the camera and lighting but iKON performs for the audience themselves regardless if the public knows them.
