I'm willing to bet that it was actually dripping with irony, although we didn't get enough of it to tell for sure. Longtime viewers of hers know that she actually has a very dark sense of humor, although she hides that aspect of herself on stream most of the time because it's less than "brand safe", haha. Take the thing that everyone knows you're never supposed to joke about and just make light of it relentlessly. The paradox is that overly doctrinaire thinking, where you're never allowed to question the established orthodoxy, is literally the kind of collective mindset that gives rise to fascism and genocide in the first place. Lily was doing God's work by reminding people that there's no such thing as something that can't be questioned, can't be mocked. There are no sacred cows in the real world, and as soon as you imagine that there are, you're already starting down the path that leads to very, very dark places. Impressive from a 14-year-old. It underscores that Lily was a bright kid. She understood more than most, and probably earlier on.
