Michael was able to get the message across great to get some directional guidance, but park in Japanese is actually “koen.” The ko is said similar to the co in Cola with just an extended vowel almost morphing into a u sound (kind of?) and en like the en in end. Or maybe it sounds closer if you imagine a w before the en when you say it: kowen. Not sure where he got the G sound from instead of the K/C sound it should be and where the ending n went. Still good enough to communicate, but that’s why the man at 17:53 corrected him to see if he actually meant koen as in park, lol. 👍🏻
