Goodbye, Norway! Solo motorcycle camping trip through Scandinavia continues [S5-E19]

This channel inspired me to take my motorbike from Ireland on the ferry to France last month, and do 5,000kms in 2 weeks across France and Italy. Everything about the journey felt spirtual, and I'm the least spiritual person there is. I'd forgotten how amazing it is to be on 2 wheels exploring. Thanks Runa!

Your intonation 🎶 is so relaxing for us (and the calm way of speaking). We understand it that the days can be really tiring for you. So powerful - the camping 🏕️ you often do. Here (in the Netherlands) we heard that the temp 🌡️in Sweden (in november) sometimes was -10° 🥶 Also curious about the forests 🌲🌳🍃. Hope you don't feel too lonely. Don't worry about following the printers folds in the map, just do your own thing. Fold it every night to show the next day's ride - it's much easier and makes sense! that place, where you had the "cooooffeee!" at robins place or so, was exactly my stop, when i did the round scandinavia trip , and was freezing like hell (having punctured gloves soaking wet of rain and snow, which i tried to dry there ). what memories this brings back. and you know what, somewhow i was wondering, when i saw the part where you discussed the road and was pointing on the dotted road , that this is exactly the way i did my rout , if you would stop there. and you did. and what a cosy place it was back then. :-) enjoy, keep up the post, take care and as till now: i really like your way of doing this channel. chilled, not to much adrenaline etc. kinda contrary to what the algorythmn of youtube wants, but it still is working , this is great :D Sorry for the bad english and untidy way of putting thoughts into words. They often say it... 'Why don't you go by car' when they perceive a hardship. Like you say...They don't get it, I had a long night ride recently, & it became very cold, (I got caught out despite my years of experience) I taped up my cuffs to try & stop the cold air going up my arms, It only partially helped for a short time, Then I got really cold, (Like you do) My right knee seized up, -like it ALWAYS does (lol) & I shivered, But it's ingrained in me now, I enjoyed it, All these years on, I'm not going to change now. btw.... I think I enjoyed that Ham & Cheese roll almost as much as you did, Great work Runa, Keep on Keeping on, 👍

18:50 I assume it's for lowering the weight to the bottom that is attached to a buoy so it can handle a boat attached to the buoy. All that matters is if it will get the job done or not, and contraptions like this isn't something you use all that often anyhow. I think it looks mint lol

It looks like you dealt with plenty of rain last summer when you were riding also. When I was up at the Arctic Circle the mosquitos were insane! You needed 3 hands, 2 to set up your tent and one to slap the damn mosquitos. 😂. I have a heated jacket liner I use when it’s colder outside, like 10°C and down to a bit under zero that I will still ride. Haters will hate, screw them😂, I will be comfortable also. The ones that criticize heated gear probably won’t ride if they see a cloud because it might rain too🙄! Oh, previously I noticed you really like ice cream, I believe ice cream is a food group of its own! Damn I love good ice cream😂

Yea, clean, clean and fresh air! It’s a privilege 😊 the heated jacket fits really nicely underneath the KLIM jacket, even with more layers under it. I made a video about it a little while back where you can see the fit better!😊
