Nice that Dollar Shave Club has stepped up to help! I have been using their stuff for over three years now and have never been disappointed. Tried their four blade razor but went back to a two blade one because it did a nicer job, plus the Shave Butter is great too! So much for my own commercial, loved that you gave Lola some seasick medicine. Hopefully it made her more relaxed and able to cope. Kate did not look so good there for awhile but she seemed to get past it for the most part. Sure happy you've got such a good engine to take you outside for that long leg of this journey. I'm sure you kids are so looking forward to the warmer climate ahead!

If you don't want to be sea sick, buy Stugeron 15mg next time you are in a British Commonwealth country. It is sold over the counter in most pharmacies. No side affects unlike like Dramamine. In steady high 40 knot winds with gusts in the high 50s and 15-20 foot seas, I feed it to the crew of 5 and no one got sick. It is the offshore sailors best friend!

What is your plan for the 30' Catalina? Are you taking it into blue water or just coastal cruising? Is it capable of blue water sailing? I had a 1977 Catalina 25 and when I wanted to take it from New Orleans to the keys I was talked out of it because they were telling me it wouldn't make it because it's not a blue water boat.

Salt, eat salty foods for seasickness. It helps to settle down the stomach, does not totally keep or prevent seasick but it does help somewhat as it helps to counteract the stomach fluids produced. When I was a kid, used to eat Frito's or have like ham sandwich as well as some tomatoes on top with pinch of salt on the them. Potato chips can be added to sandwich as well.

FYI: Dollar Shave is no help for me. Had to shave twice a day so gave up on that decades ago, prolly shortly after getting out of the navy. Toilet paper is cheaper here than having to ship. Same goes for the other products, doubt I would use the shampoo as doubt it is as good as products I use which is local and again avoid shipping cost, which is not cheap half way around the world.

After having GERD for about two years and trying everything under the sun to diminish the heartburn and reflux, my wife got on a sushi kick. She went full tilt with all the tools and condiments including wasabi and pickled ginger in umabashi vinegar. I noticed that after eating the sushi that my GERD subsided. After some time I narrowed down the helpful component to the umabashi ginger and began eating a slice or two with every meal. After a few weeks I was able to even sleep through the night lying normally without any episodes of reflux. Another couple of months later I was completely back to normal and haven't had any episodes of GERD since then about 4 years ago, not even an occasional heartburn! Try eating a slice whenever you have indigestion Kate and may you too have a remarkable recovery. Ps, I also tried eating dried ginger and ginger candy, but they didn't help. I think there must be some kind of synergy between the ginger and the umabashi vinegar that makes the difference!

It's one more thing that helps you continue to do more of what you enjoy doing and that we enjoy vicariously by watching your videos. I mean, you said "butt wipes"...that's funny. - Most of your viewers aren't Patrons, so "our support" only comes through KZbin ad revenue. We can take this for the team. - Most ads are done by paid actors, i.e. strangers to us. Here, we know who is directly benefiting from it. "So why not you?!", I say. - How many critics of your promo recently just "watched the SuperBowl for the ads"? Plus, it's a lifestyle and grooming product, not some pharmaceutical (that dominates the airwaves) where death is a side-effect. In conclusion, most regular viewers have laughed along with the flack you've gotten from the whole mustache thing. It's all good fun, so this is a perfect promo for you. I'm glad they reached out to offer this to you... We've watched the bucket baths, the teeth brushing clips, and this company was smart enough to reach out to you. It was our first created ad in 180 videos and the money we got from them we put directly back into the videos by buying a drone for the Bahamas, we wouldn't have got one otherwise. It all helps otherwise I'm going to make less videos because I'll be working other jobs that pay, just won't have the time. But opportunities and the support of others help keep these videos going and consistent. Or else I would only upload when I can on free time. I'm passionate about making videos, I just have to feed myself, Kate and Lola as a priority. Work another job = less videos, make money while making videos = more videos and able to money back into that rather than having it just be an expensive hobby. I'm sure a lot of people understand! Forget pithy plastic straws. A way more serious daily plastic waste is disposable razors and even razor cardtridge heads. There is as much plastic in one plastic razor as there is in a whole package of straws. The cartridges are just about as bad. Most of the plastic is around the blades anyhow, not thr handle Want to help save the world in a meaningful way? Stop using disposable razors and cartridges. Buy a nice reuseable razor handle and use real all-metal safety razor blades. You can buy good sharp ones really cheap and spoil yourself with a new super-sharp razor every shave. The steel blades are all 100% recycleable. Just say no to disposable razors and disposable razor cartridges. They are way worse than puny straws as far as plastic waste is concerned, and are almost impossible to recycle since they are mixed materials. Neither the plastic nor the steel can be recycled. It all goes into the landfill.
