on paper a good idea in reality far too dangerous. It also needs a very big vessel with a huge crane. For a 6 MW turbine the weight of the jacket, the tower, nacelle and blades will be far more as just 1000 tonnes. How many vessel available and what do they cost doing these trips from habour to the wind field again and again. And these are just a few arguments against it there are many more. I don´t buy that, sorry.

The vessel in question can lift 4000 metric tons. Distance from harbor to wind field is not very far. And you haven't explained why its dangerous. But i'm sure you're way smarter than the engineers who've worked on this.
