I just had to say Thank You. I learned how to make the triangles years ago, but not how to do the back, which is fine for earrings, but not pendants. I saw your instructions, and gave it a try. I had to try it twice, not because your instructions weren't clear, it was the beads I used for the first try. I used a pale yellow for the main color, which was fine for the front, but made it difficult to tell where to put the beads on the back. For my second try I used a medium color bead, and had no problems, it came out great! I will be making my earrings this way from now on. Thanks to your instructions, my earrings have gone from pretty, to beautiful. I make my earrings with 7, instead of 11, and it still worked up easily. Once again, Thank You for your wonderful instructions.

You are very good at explaining what you're doing and getting everything properly filmed . I was able to make this in one go with no mistakes because of your video. After seeing patterns for this shape, I wanted to try but they were confusing. You went through it wonderfully thank you

Susan Chamblee. hi i finally tried it and had to take it apart 3 times after the first part was done since every time it was off(not even) on all 3 sides. i had just assumed that the step up was at each corner until the fourth attempt when i watch closely at each go around for differing numbers of beads. i still don't understand WHY the step up gradually goes down the side but now i also finally realized why when she got to the point of showing us how to go diagonally ti the inside of triangle she was halfway down a side and i was always at a point...lol. but hey 4th times the charm here! good luck on yours!

Hi Kelly, great tut! Quick question, if I want a larger triangle would I use more main beads when starting? For example you started with 11 main followed by 3 accent. If I started with 15 main and 3 accent, then my triangle will be bigger right? Thanks in advance.

Hello Kelly! I have only recently discovered your tutorials, Facebook page, and your on-line store and am attempting to make your 3-D shapes. Can you please tell me if you are using Toho or Miyuki beads? After finishing the triangle I realized a few errors I made and wonder if the beads I'm using are quite possibly not the correct size for the pattern as I know all finished of beads can all run a bit differently. I'm using Miyuki delica size 11s but am using the matte finish for a certain look and not the luster or opaque beads. Has anyone else ever mentioned this? Thank you!

When making 3D shapes you need to use Miyuki Delica Beads

designsbyjenean. Can you please tell me how to properly step up? The way Kelly showed the first time was easy but as I continue to step up, that particular corner turned out wonky (one of Kelly's terms). I did a triangle and it turned out okay after taking it apart several times. I just want to do it right the first time. Thanks.

Can someone explain the step up to start row three? I have watched this too many times to count and I cannot get the step up correct to start row three.
@aly35603 жыл бұрын
I see (1 year later) that no one answered your question! I must be having the same problem but on the inside rows. My accent beads shifted WAY over to the left! I took it out several times and tried again but got the same result! I wish these KZbinrs would answer their comments! The step up is at the end of your row when you get back to your starting point. You must raise yourself above your last row so you can start the next row. You usually go through the very first bead of the row then raise it up by going through the first bead ADDED for that row. There are a bunch of tutorials on bead step ups that you can watch.
