i wouldn't call it hate, i take more as critiscism, you can see everyone saying "it's not my style" or similar lines, i appreciate the "fake dirt" style, but i would've gone for a more symmetric design, but that's just my OCD kicking in lol

I like it because you can take it out to dinner. And yeah, it's definitely nicely done, it looks a million times better. But of course everybody has their own style and taste.

Bad plasti dip is 90% the fault of the person who does the dipping
@paulajay85254 жыл бұрын
How much does that cost?
@jayxj77854 жыл бұрын
@@joshkiej6601 maybe it is but I'm just saying that I've done both with the same effort and all, and the end result of wrapping is more rewarding than that of plasti dip. Wrap was easy, it looks great most importantly and is probably more durable than plasti dip too. Plasti dip is light on your pocket but I don't think the results will satisfy you, no matter how great of a work you do. It's just me.

it makes sense for matt though, i mean he literally has had like 15 cars and has currently what like 4-5 cars with plans for more so it makes sense to have a car customized in this way, most people would be happy to have a super clean looking car with beautiful paint, but when you're rich and already have everything you'd ever need you start to go out and do crazy weird things. hahah

I personally love it. It's a car for fun, and it looks like someone had fun in it. All while it still looks like someone spent time on it. And like most who don't seem to hate it says; it peels off, he have the resources and interest to do a new paintjob whenever he wants. I would totally do something weird in that situation too. The inner door panels are horrendus, but it fits the theme. It's all about the theme.

That spray “dirt” hurt to see, it looked sooooooo good with that clean matte blue Edit: the black on the bottom and top actually looks good, almost like a blue fading to black, its the “scratch” part that really bothers me after seeing it complete

Even then the rat rods look cool because it's real rust that gathered while the cars were neglected, and then when they were rodded they usually just get clearcoat over the patina, or nothing at all. Not some effects to make it 'look cool'
