Both of those trucks should have slave receptacles for jumping. Get the right cable and you just plug it in. No worrying about if you hooked your cables up properly.

Matt you can also jump start 24 volt machines with a welder, I do it all the time on heavy equipment . Just dial the welder back to around 24 v and put the leads to the starter …….

Put a couple battery disconnect switches on your negative cables. One on the main and one between the series and parallels. Regular marine switches work great. It should keep the batteries hot when you’re not using the truck.

Get some 20 gal empty air tanks on the far side of you air lines. They will help keep your psi and volume up while using impacts and hi flow equipment. With long air lines you end up with flow issues

I have a old military truck and yes you can jump it off a 12 volt vehicle just hook your jumper cables up on the first battery your wiring come into and it will start

Simple solution to the jump start on 24 volt. Go positive to positive. And put negatives to chassis ground and you can't go wrong

In the Army I have used a Humvee to jump start an LMTV and Stryker's. I was told to let it just idle for about 5 minutes and then as they start the larger truck just rev to about 3k on the Humvee.

Matt is there a hitch on that 5 ton truck you should use that to tow one of your trailers that would be really cool. You would hardly notice the trailer behind you with that big truck pilling it. I am sure that it is rated to haul way more than your F250 dually or your Dodge ram truck.

There’s a port on the right side of the battery box that is for a jump cable, makes it super easy to jump those. Might have to source it though, they aren’t that common.

You can get a 24volt jumper box. Hook up tenders to each 12v battery. Or just get a handy mechanic caretaker.

Put 2x4s or 2x6s under the tire along the wheel wells of the trailer. Or 4x4 if you have them. Use a snatch block for heavy pulls. Snatch blocks are your friend. Sometimes you need to snatch blocks. I hope that's a 12,000 lb winch? I miss the old school PTO driven winches. That would pull a tank. Not really but they could pull. I did tow truck when I was a kid in the 1983

You know Matt since you have 2 surplus vehicles you should try and find a slave cable for them. That way if you have that problem again you can just plug the cable in and your good to go.
