Cooks personality and character development "hardness" and "aggression" is the complete opposite to what Chris represented. And cassie was may more wacky and outlandish/troublesome than Naomi. Naomi was much more mentally mature and took relationship troubles alot harder and emotionally than cassie as cassie just came up with weird ways to deal with things and happily slept about often as Naomi was much more in love with one person and wasn't one to try anything wacky or upsetting to others. P.s Jack O'Connell has developed into a fantastic actor and starred/been a valued part of the cast in several critically acclaimed films and building his reputation in acting beautifully. Hope bigger and better things come his way. As for the girl playing Naomi. I've not really seen her in anything since skins yet however she is talented in her own right and I have to say which most fans/viewers will agree, Naomi is absolutely stunningly beautiful. A natural beauty with a wonderful smile and sexiness. All the best to the whole cast of skins gen 2 apart from thomas. Hated pretty much everything the character said or did. Wasn't impressed with the acting at times and the character instantly got on my nerves and only made things worse. Plus the character is a total and utter hypacrit. Plus he tries to come across as this big hard man against the other lads and thinks he can do what he wants. Not only did most of what he said made me cringe. It also did my head in and my wish was for the character to shut up with his talking/speeches. Or to simply get lost and leave the second series asap. I'm sure even though some fans may have liked him/I'm guessing pretty definitively that the majority was on my side and agreed with my opinion and my wish list lol

I'm from the same generation and I wish this was screened in India when i was a teenager! I love this show. My reality would have been different if i were lucky to have been exposed to good content honest shows about coming of age. Also, I never really cared for cook at all.. As he said he was annoying as hell in the beginning but as the series prgressed I started to care for him the most. His and Cassie's characters are so layered that you can almost have a spin off series on them.I would really love to see that.

I think that the SKINS UK show is popular outside of the UK because it portrays how the UK sees things, but in the 21st century. For me, and I'm from Tennessee, I love it because it's not "normal" for television shows here. It has a sense of realism to what people go through with being a teen, growing up, feelings, problems, substance abuse.. It has a little bit of everything. Shows are too glamorized, fake, and just normally over the top. I like seeing drama, and problems associated with life.
