If you wanna know what happend, sayd here in an interview for Kerrang: “When All Time Low played the Main Stage at Reading & Leeds for the first time, our laptop broke. I’ve never actually spoken about this publicly before, but I’ve told friends. We weren’t relying on it for a backing track or anything, but Rian’s [Dawson, drums] click track runs through it. When things started going wrong I started playing Dammit by blink-182, and about eight moshpits broke out. We had to start Weightless differently, because that song normally begins with an electronic beat, but we didn’t have it, so we had to start with a guitar riff instead. To this day we still play it that way. It ended up being a really special moment for the band, weirdly.”

I'm really not a fan of all time low, but dammit is one of my all time favorite songs, and this cover was awesome. You could feel the energy, the fun and the passion and in my opinion, that's exactly what performing this song is all about.

alteye1 a lot comes from actually having two guitars playing the song, you have the riff and the rythm guitar, when blink plays it live, they only have the one or the other

This video is so important because you know how everyone in the band (including jack) make fun about how Jack can't play his instrument and everything, but this is the song helped him learn guitar and the song he knows so well and loves so much, and he looks so fucking happy and so fucking proud and i just god i'm emotional i love him so much

João Mellin one think I like better about ATL's cover is that they have 2 guitars, and 2 guitars were used in the blink-182 Dammit recording. When blink performs it live, obviously it's only 1 guitar.

Jeremy Delacruz it annoys me how these bands are associated with the punk scene. Like common you mean to tell me they're punk? They're "emo" poprock boy bands. Punk is Cheshire Cat Blink 182, GreenDay, Social Distortion, NOFX, Rise Against, Bad Religion, The Off Springs, AFI, Penny Wise, Sum 41, New Found Glory, Ramones, Sex Pistols ect. I'm not saying that All time low and them are bad bands, they're just not punk and listening to them is a little girly.

Just because All Time Low, Fall Out Boy etc. etc. don't sound pop-punk to you, doesn't mean they aren't. Because, honestly, All Time Low isn't 'poppy, alternative and mainstream'.
