I did this once when I had long hair and I still consider it the most amazing thing I have ever done to my hair colorwise. I had the main color a rich auburn color, and I got deep blueberry midnight blue highlights put throughout. They were fine enough highlights that the effect it had on my hair was that it literally looked iridescent. You couldn't see the blue, even though there was a lot put in. It just looked like one of those color shift nail polishes. It was very expensive, mostly because of the amount of dye it took, and the amount of time it took to get the highlight hair pure white before coloring it midnight blue. That blue in time faded to a beautiful lavender. This was a good fifteen years ago. I truly believe if you had this done now, the blue dye would hold better than it did in my hair. Hair color has come a long way since then. I don't have any pictures. But it was beautiful beyond words. I am super glad you are keeping your hair short. It is so beautiful on you.

Hi Nicole. I relate to being bored about hair. I had some cheetah spots put on the sides and back.I did a slideshow on my channel if you wanna look. I love my red hair so just grew them out but was fun. The good thing with really short hair is you can be brutal with colour and then grow it ou in like 8 weeks :) I look forward to seeing what you do with your hair :) You go for it girl .Hugs xxx

Love colorful short hair ! I feel purple is your color.Try a lighter purple shade :-) Also the shaved sides look amazing on you. I would not suggest anything with blonde. I love weird colored lipsticks. The way I broke the oddness if it is I put on Jeffree Starr's Jawbreaker and just went out to run some errands. No one said anything negative, some folks cocked their head but it is so fun now to just go and grab whatever out of the ordinary color and go! Ps, that dark blue would look bomb as hell on you.
