I believe everybody knows OG and nobody is one of the best defenders in the NBA and one of the most intangibly plus players in the NBA because he performs and we saw in the playoffs multiple times hitting clutch shots so we all know who would we bring the table; any true NBA fan edit: plus as a first generation Africa America I would say this majority of Africans to appreciate our people playing in the league

He’s only underrated by experts and casual fans! Real ballers know the effects OG and Precious have to the Knicks…the defensive tenacity, the team play, the hustle, the sharing, the heart and winning attributes they both bring in each game! The trade will go down as the bet since the Dave DeBusshere trade! OG is our Scottie Pippin!

@@Ma1q444LeBron was great. Should have a DPOY. But he didn't guard 1-5. He didn't guard bigs in Miami. If he were on Scottie's or OG's level, Spo would have had him guarding Dirk when Dirk cooked Miami in the Finals. David West used to have his way with Bron in the post. Guard Embiid like OG? Bron could never.

@@Michael_Page If we are going by that logic, OG definitely cannot guard 1-5, the only people who can guard 1-5 consistently is AD, Jaren Jackson, Bam, Claxton, Wemby. Only people who can guard 1-5 are laterally quick big men. People like OG can’t guard 1-5 simply because of the weight/strength difference which is why everytime he guards Embiid they send a double and if they knew he could handle Embiid they wouldn’t do that. Also your comparison of the 2011 finals isn’t a good comparison, I can say Gary Payton can’t guard Jordan because George Karl didn’t put him on Jordan until game 4 but…. That isn’t true because when Payton was Jordan primary defender after game 4 Jordan shot an all time low. OG can’t even guard Zion let alone Embiid, Lebron at 39 locked up Zion, prime Lebron couldn’t lock up Embiid but he could contain him way better than OG can. He’s incredible.. he did exactly what needed to be done when he got the assignment to guard embiid.. he got in front of him, denied him the ball, made embiid work extra hard just to get open.. that was huge!!

OG Anunoby has been the best 1 on 1 defender for the last 5 years period. I hope he gets all the credit he deserves because his injuries come from banging "No Diddy" with other players.

I remember a game against Denver where he guarded jokic, had 7 steals and scored 32 back in his third yr I think. From then on I knew he was the second coming of Kawhi

People saying that OG isn't DPOY because steals don't matter, bruh, he can put pressure on ANYONE like no one else in the league. They just give it to some tall guy that grabs rebounds, it's a dumb trophy at this point. Jaren Jackson led the league in blocks and that got him DPOY, steals and pressuring toward turnovers are so much more important, blocks can turn into possessions for the other team, steals literally mean you have possession of the ball.

Wait til you guys face the better teams. Ogs value will only grow. He can guard donovan mitchell and tatum very well. Hes also guarded jokic quite well as well.
