People forget that he was injured in last year’s playoff run. That team was already clamping people on the defensive end. Imagine having OG come off the bench taking turns with Kawhi on locking down the other team’s best player + you still have pascal

The Warriors lives would’ve been made a living hell. That’s what I point out to people who say that Warriors would’ve won if weren’t for injuries. Kawhi who was tearing up teams had a bum knee. OG was injured the whole time. Those two fully healthy? It would’ve been over sooner

joseph ofori the thing is Golden State didn’t fully know how to respond to Toronto cause they were so used of killing the Cavs and their defence vs the Warriors wasn’t so effective like Nick Nurses defensive system. The Warriors pretty outplayed themselves by getting themselves injured. Toronto’s intensity may have been too much for them. Also what hurts the Warriors is being to 5 straight finals. They’re bodies took too much.

joseph ofori I’m saying that it wouldn’t have been that easy for the Warriors. People were saying the Warriors could win easy without KD against the Raptors. Look at what happened. Also you’re kind of ignoring the fact that Kawhi wasn’t 100% in the finals. I also don’t really like thinking of the what if’s. If it happens, it happens. It is what it is. But I do think that if KD was in the series it would’ve been pretty hard. But if KD is in. He’s the one that’s doing the damage. Klay wouldn’t have been going off and well Steph is Steph. But this is a team game. The Raptors were the most stacked team the Warriors had to face in the finals. We cant just sit here and act like just cause Warriors have a good team on pen and paper and can’t be beat. And if I’m being honest. I think both the 76ers and Bucks could’ve beaten the Warriors last year as well. But that’s what made Toronto so dangerous last year. They made it that far and still don’t get the respect for making it all the way. Even this year they are still treated like a joke and treated like they aren’t a playoff team. Also do you really think Warriors were really going to shut down all of Toronto’s starters and bench?

joseph ofori I think it’s a scenario where it’s Warriors in 6 or Raptors in 7. And I firmly believe it would be Raptors in 7 more than Warriors in 6. And let’s remember Draymond didn’t exactly hold Pascal down that great the whole series. Especially in game 6. They didn’t exactly hold Lowry down in game 6 early on as well. The Warriors defended well still but they tried to shut down one good scorer and another steps up. For the Warriors they only had Steph and Klay to really step up and exceed expectations. This was literally the best year Klay had in the finals cause of KD being injured. Steph had like 2 really good games that I can remember of. He wasn’t that good to me in throughout the series. He made good shots but he missed a lot of shots he would normally hit throughout the year. And Klay wasn’t always reliable for them. Especially after injuring himself. KD being healthy would be challenging. But at the same time why bother working hard on shutting him down? He’s gonna hit most of his shots. Just worry about keeping Steph and Klay down and they’ll be fine. It seemed to have worked for them in the regular season. Also having OG in the series would’ve been nice cause he’s a pretty solid defender. Also the Bucks/Sixers were pretty much as solid as Toronto. Both teams have some solid defence and some star power. And I do think Raptors would still have moved past the Sixers with them having a not so ill Embiid. There are some things we can’t say would for sure would’ve happened but i don’t really think about it too much. Plus they did a pretty good job at forcing good players to shoot bad shots and even make them miss good shots they’d normally hit. But I’m not here to change your opinion. And I’m definitely not gonna change mine. I fully respect your opinion. For the Bucks or Sixers vs Warriors they would’ve been to game 7 in the Finals. Without KD in the scenario I should say. They are really good teams and Embiid would’ve most likely be recovered from being ill.

OG blocked 3 threes in the same game That’s amazing considering the top players at blocking 3s in a season is around 5-10 and he got 3 in one game!

He did as well on defence as any rookie could on LeBron. He has really turn it up on that side this year. He’s gonna make an all nba defensive team one of these years
