So i was messing with as Shojin first item and its pretty strong despite the W interaction because it procs from minions/aoe. Basically you have 4 procs up all the time in lane and in tfs you also get 4 stacks almost instantaneously just from R ticks in 2-3 targets.

Black cleaver seems kinda shit rn, but it synergizes so well with renekton that I think it's worth over sundered sky, which doesn't have any synergy

I think Cleaver isn't that bad if you're ahead but I agree, they need to give some love to the item a little bit for bruisers and it will be great.

As a last item if they have a lot of magic damage i can really recommend the Kaern Rookern thing. 80 magice resist and some health plus about 1000 magic damage shield to engage with. It also pairs well with Maw, but you would have to drop Steraks then. As you show you do enough damage with cleaver, titanic, steraks. Dead mans, DD or GA could be an armor choice.

Yeah I agree, it's a NASTY MR item, I haven't had the chance to build it yet but when I get that chance I'm going to feel untouchable in those games vs mass AP.

@@liamedgar456 LOL. If you want to be better, i know Godrekton has videos showing Renekton's combos. Watch it and go into the practice tool and practice on the dummies untill they sit. Tank Renekton really isn't going to cut it for you in the long run. After that it's like all other champions. Learn to CS, learnt he different match ups and the general macro of the game. One thing no one talks about that Renekton players need is confidence. Always go for an early kill. Some champs you can kill earlier than others. After that play like you have the biggest dong on the map. The map is yours. You own it and every resource (cs, enemy jungle creeps ect.) is yours. I believe in you. Go get them.

I have been running a similar build but been starting titanic with BORK. I like BORK for the 1 vs 1 potential in lane then I go BC into steraks and jak'sho. Currently running through plat fast so it works for me.

100 percent agree those bruiser builds are nice but if u play Vs fighter u need Bork first to 1v1 them

@@Godrekton I do like throwing bork in there on occasion but damn does it feel nice to go this build again. Feels so easy to build into with primarily long swords and ruby crystals

@@oshermdaddy2058 If you're going to go bork, build it first into bruisers and tanks if you plan to dominate early game then pivot into Cleaver > Titanic > Defensive Items. I think that's the best path to adapt with Bork first, I did a PBE game a few months ago with it and felt good.

That could work, but I'm not a fan of going sorcery second even if I go Domination I just noticeably feel weaker into most match ups early with their resolve advantage.

GA, DD, Perhaps one of the new tank items, maybe the one that heals you over a course of time? Not sure what the name is, but I'm sure that would be disgusting for drain tanking people's HP back.

@@Godrekton don‘t think DD is a good option. You have to be good on healing and in the late game renek is just meh in every aspect. New healing item is very cool, but again, not very fitting without sustain. I think thats the problem, there are too little options to choose from that will really fit the champ

Definitely needs some love, it ain't all that bad when you complete it even after the nerfs but still I think it needs a bit extra to push bruisers into buying it.

I love Renekton but I feel like this season he's gotten weaker, this week I played against a Trundle and I was 100 cs up and 5 kills above him but I couldn't beat him even when I baited out his ult, when I play other champs I can easily beat Trundle though

yah trundle is strong 1V1 even if you a head , steal your ad from Q and your HP with his ult thats why you need to play it smart and make him waste ult 1st
