Cutes Is A L.A. gang historian and is a real one who have met and been around a lot of the o.g. real ones and is a great story teller who gets into detail and makes you visualize what he is talking about. I remember Bartender getting killed that night at a Compton High Dance at Dutos in the late 70’s I was there. Enjoy the historical content of what's being conveyed, but don't follow the negative paths that they've traveled. Like Bird said, he always kept moving towards education. And, like Cutes stated that if he could do it all over, he would have stayed in Catholic school and went on to Serra High School, and made something better of himself. Between Cutes, Pretty Boy, and Mizz, you have about 100 years in prison sentences. So you don't want to go that route. That's the message that they are sending. We need more doctors, lawyers, plumbers, electricians, city, county, and state workers, politicians, activists, entrepreneurs, and so on. We don't need to increase the incarceration rate. Don't wait until you're 40 or 50 to get it figured out. Transfer that energy towards something positive so that you'll be able to kick back and relax when you turn 50👍💯

Love this video, I got 21 years in the Air Force and I run across alot of younger brothers from all over who carry aggression, even when there is no threat, I can spot them a mile away, I try to catch them quick and set them up for success...the old cats who taught me call it Road Mapping, but its just plain old positive mentorship and role modeling... He is right about choices, and cleaning up your act and appearance, sometimes looking in the mirror at your best self can change your self awareness, if you cant afford get as fly as you would like to be, like the brother said, at least put an iron on your shit..., self awareness drives attitude, attitude leads to actions, actions build habits,and habits build character, be that good or bad practices... I retire in about a month and your videos have inspired me get involved in my local area, and I will always point to your body of work as my inspiration...God Bless!

I’m 44 years old. And I learned in life that you can resolve so much more when it comes to problems in the streets with an argument/communication/ or a good ole fight. And them come to a resolution.
