I have played every season since the first day, but in most seasons I played just to stay in the game. It was something I have never experienced while playing Fortnite. The best thing about the entire OG Fortnite was the fact that everyone's skill was the same and pros were building simple towers. It basically was mario kart in terms of competivity, and for casual players that wanted to relax after work by playing 30mins it was fantastic. After S5 or S6 or so everything was stupid and was no reason to play the game anymore unless you played this for 5h a day

i think some stuff was upgraded in a lot of ways and much more stuff was downgraded. there were sounds that perfectly fit the cartoony aesthetic that slowly got taken out. it just feels like they took some of the best parts of the game, the artstyle and sound design, which had a cartoony yet slightly eerie feeling to replace it with generic dull realism

most sounds still sound fortnitish if thats the right word for it for example, the gun sounds still sound like they could be in season 1 it doesn’t stray all too far from what it was in terms of sound design
