PPS. some quick 411 about me:
- I'm Cambodian and Chinese.
- I was born in November of 1983 (so I'll be 37 this year) and raised in Houston, TX.
- "OG KPOP STAN": I've always used the term "OG" (supposedly "original gangster") to define being old-school, and I became an avid Korean music aka Kpop listener/lover since 1998. Kpop was my coping mechanism from the bullying I experienced in my younger years and it's just stuck by me ever since.
- I was a hiphop dancer for about 7 years. I did the whole crew thing, auditioning thing, competition thing, choreography thing, dance instructor thing, so I have some experience in that field and I hope to be able to share some perspective from my experiences for y'all to see the extra things that I appreciate about a video when I point them out.
-My videos can have quite a lot of cuts in editing and/or my eyes will unnaturally blink rapidly sometimes. This is because of my neurological disease that came with my lupus nephritis (posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome). My thinking abilities and speaking abilities struggle to align at times.
- Yes, that's Jack Sparrow's ring that I always wear in my videos. I've been a Pirates of the Caribbean fan ever since I rode the ride for the first time ever in Disneyland when I was a kid.🤓

I remember InSomnia went _mental_ when we realised that was Dami at the start of ATWNOL... 😂 And I know what you mean, it's such a simple video, but it's totally captivating... Over the Sky was their second anniversary fansong, a gift to InSomnia, and the dance incorporates sign language. The first anniversary brought us Full Moon, and for their third, we got Siyeon's debut solo single, Paradise! 😍

Some of the hand moves in "over the sky" are sign language. And yes Dreamcatcher has a lot of coreography where they incorporate the lyrics. We can say that "and there was no one left" has "face coreo" ? Thanks to that special I fall in love with Dreamcatcher

Over the Sky was their 2nd anniversary fan song, following the trend of Full Moon, which had the same kind of sound. They even choreographed some sign language into it for all their deaf fans.

This is during Piri. If you look at the Piri video you'll notice Siyeon's blue nails. Over the Sky is their 2nd Anniversary song. Full Moon is the first.

The pinky part you mentioned in Over the sky, is actually a sign language 😉. And the song is a song for InSomnia for their 2nd anniversary. And there was no one left is like one of the most played in my playlist, even till now.

love your thoughts on Dreamcatcher. You did one of my favorite B Sides already, Red Sun. hoping you do some others - Wonderland, Sahara, Jazz Bar, Mayday (with a band!)... I could keep naming more. Seriously, so good. Trap, and Can't get you out of my mind - I don't think these have special clips, I could be wrong, but they are so good. At first I ignored their slower tracks because I was caught up in the amazing titles but WOW I'm obsessed now.

"And There Was No One Left" surprisingly is my favorite Dremacatcher song. I love the groove that it has. Plus as you pointed out, the minimalist video just adds that extra punch to the song. It doesn't hurt that the 2 main rappers in the group start it out.

And There Was No One Left was my first Dreamcatcher song i ever listened to and the rest is history haha i always tried to avoid them bc of the name and logo, esp knowing how many native people felt hurt by it, but then i listened to their songs and couldnt stop, bc their music reminds me so much of 90s anime and early 00s rock bands like Vanilla Ninja and now after learning how supportive Dreamcatcher are of the LGBTQAI+ community and even include deaf fans... i definitely made the right choice!
