PPS. some quick 411 about me:
- I'm Cambodian and Chinese.
- I was born in November of 1983 (so I'll be 37 this year) and raised in Houston, TX.
- "OG KPOP STAN": I've always used the term "OG" (supposedly "original gangster") to define being old-school, and I became an avid Korean music aka Kpop listener/lover since 1998. Kpop was my coping mechanism from the bullying I experienced in my younger years and it's just stuck by me ever since.
- I was a hiphop dancer for about 7 years. I did the whole crew thing, auditioning thing, competition thing, choreography thing, dance instructor thing, so I have some experience in that field and I hope to be able to share some perspective from my experiences for y'all to see the extra things that I appreciate about a video when I point them out.
-My videos can have quite a lot of cuts in editing and/or my eyes will unnaturally blink rapidly sometimes. This is because of my neurological disease that came with my lupus nephritis (posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome). My thinking abilities and speaking abilities struggle to align at times.
- Yes, that's Jack Sparrow's ring that I always wear in my videos. I've been a Pirates of the Caribbean fan ever since I rode the ride for the first time ever in Disneyland when I was a kid.🤓

Fun fact this choreography was inspired by the traditional Maori dance the Haka. The stomping and the shouting is very reminiscent of what the dance would be like traditionally while other parts of the dance are just mixed in movements reminiscent of the Haka.

They did an excellent job of taking elements of Haka without just literally doing a Haka. IMO it's a great example of how to take inspiration from a culture without just straight up appropriating it. Loved hearing Bang Chan talk about it with such reverence and respect after the fact too.

Miroh is one of the songs that they performed the most i think, and every time they do their energy is on point, they seem happy performing it and Lee Know just owns it every single time, this really is one of "his songs" for me 😁

I got into stray kids like a week ago. I didn't understand why so many people said Lee Know is the best dancer when Hyungjin is right there. Hyungjin really killed backdoor, Maniac and God's Menu for me. But than i saw Miroh and damn, Lee was more than perfect. I don't even know the words to describe the feels he gives me during the first hook. And I'm not even a dance person.

Yes please! I really enjoy your dance analyses, it’s interesting when you point out the syncopated parts where they dance on off beats and when you point out other dance references to their choreos. It would be cool if you did it for other groups too. Lol it doesn’t necessarily have to be individual members like with skz, but sometimes if you ever check out dance practices and stuff. Also!! I CANT wait to see your reactions to the rest of this album. This is my FAVORITE album in the Clé series. 19 is my ult song but I would definitely recommend watching Victory Song (performance video), Chronosaurus mv, Boxer (street vers/special ver) the special version was a present for Stays during the first month covid really hit a global impact and everyone was quarantined. They didn’t want Stays to feel bored so they gave us special videos for Boxer and Voices. and 19 (has an Easter egg for Backdoor, they had BACK spelled out on the wall, and a door next to it and balloons hinting that it will be released on Han’s birthday. Specifically Han, bc he wrote the song “19” and then I would recommend a lyric vid for Maze of Memories.

Another of my favorite dance practices... so much view of choreo blocked in MV. Love this. This being so cleanly executed is probably why it is on my top favorite lists. One of my favorite elements is the jump at "Stray Kids hoo!" I don't know dance or counts, but it feels unusual---on which moment in music/words/jump and land on beat, as opposed to beat landing while in the air. I feel like I'm babbling slightly because I don't know the right words, difficulty expressing them right now. But bottom like is that I love the "Stray Kids hoo!" part so much because of the landing beat. Whether I am mistaken and this is common timing or not, it's very cool. But you've commented in other videos about how they do things in unusual ways (like Back Door, I think, where you commented about how they jump and land into the one).

GORL you are not the only one confused by miroh and mirror. I was like so confused when I heard mirror cause I was like “it sounds different from what I heard before”. Only to find out that the one I listened to before was miroh 😂😂😭😭 also I’m pretty sure miroh is the Korean for maze! That’s why they talk about it and the “Miroh” logo kinda looks like a maze hahah And yes please do make those dance analysis! Watching those kinds of videos are my fave!

i loved this video !! :D i am very excited for you to react to levanter because it is my favorite title track from them ! its definitely more mellow than their usual but i hold it very close to my heart (it was their first comeback after wj left) and the lyrics and choreo are absolutely gorgeous !! minho really shines whenever they perform it, his vocals are very very nice !! i wanted u to know that it makes me really happy when you talk about him because even if hes the main dancer and in charge of the dance line, he isn’t commonly acknowledged for his talent on reaction videos .. i think maybe he fades a little into the background bc hes not as “flashy” as hyunjin (nothing wrong w that ! love hyunjin hes such a fierce performer!!!) and felix usually gets killing parts bc of his deep voice (which again, i also love heheh), so i havent really seen many videos where he is recognised as much? i absolutely adore the dance line and i think they really complement each other by having different styles, and i think minho brings a sense of unity and cohesiveness that makes skz’ choreo very special to me. i can’t remember his exact words but when he was asked why he dances, he said something about not dancing to stand out by himself, but to show that they (him and skz) are one. so he closely pays attention to the other members and is always careful to watch and match them.. i think that speaks volumes on how much he cares about the team above everything else, and for all the members as well !! sorry for the long comment im just rambling now ksjjsjs but i rly love minho so much and it makes me very happy to see him getting the recognition he deserves hahahah after all even if hes always being weird and funny or "savage" with his whole tsundere persona ..he truly loves skz so much :( so yea !!! loved this thina, been binge watching ur skz reactions all day and im excited for more

their dances back then are much cleaner than now.. i admit that.. they lost their synchronization a bit.. and back then their choreos are more intense and energetic than now.. that's why i really like those who knew them from god's menu to explore back so they'll see who stray kids really is

I think it’s good because it forces you to be more creative with the choreo. they’ll still have one member in the center and one in the back for the chorus part of the song but i think it makes the choreographer(s) think out of the box

It does. It didn't occur to me until I watched Fresh Tofu reacting to a 6-member Dreamcatcher video; he pointed out that when you have an odd number of dancers, when one takes point, the others can split evenly, with the same number of members each side. With an even number, they'll adjust it by having one member "shadow" the point dancer, basically also being central, but directly behind the other member.
