Its a very interesting and cute dynamic they have since in their own families, Seonghwa and Hongjoong are the youngest, yet they are the eldest in ateez, and Jongho is the eldest in his family, yet he is the maknae in ateez haha

I think that's why their roles shift constantly because in informal and more relaxed settings, Sh and Hj lapse into more playful and mischievous individuals, while Jongho really stands out as a maknae who naturally doesn't behave like a maknae (ie he takes care of other members a lot) But because he's the youngest, the members are proud of his maturity and let him lead them around because they love seeing him confident and independent just as much as they love having him as the baby of the team.

what makes wooyoung moving to KQ so precious was that wooyoung and yeosang were Big Hit trainees and wooyoung was at the top of the group (?) and he was expected to debut in txt, but when yeosang left he left too and that just makes it so much more personal 🥺

I noticed that the members pronounce Yunho as Yuno so I think you're fine. They tend to put more of the H in Jongho though, I don't know why they're different.

When consonant ㅇ comes to the final consonant in Hangul we usually pronounce the next word's consonant continually. Thats where the difference comes from.(yuno and jongho) sorry for my bad english😭and even if you cant understand my explanation, you may easily know by speedily pronouncing each of his name yunho and yuno. You can see "yuno" is pronounced more easily than yunho

I don't speak Korean by any means but I did notice how in some names certain letters are pronounced (such as Jongho) but in others they aren't (such as Yunho). I guess it helps I like languages and studied one so... also good luck with your English if you decide to learn it ^^

Wooyoung being both loud and friendly is the BEST thing tbh. In a recent show, Yeosang was asked how he and Woo became friends, and he said something like: "Usually there are steps to become friends, but Wooyoung skipped some. One day we're slowly getting to know each other, and the next day, he bit my arm" 😂😂 Jongho is a fellow 00 liner!! :') I think his vocals are what drew me into Atz in the first place. One of the first things I watched was the 2020 MAMA and I was blown away 😭♥ 39:15 this is Jongho's KZbin content! I saw their tour in London on Seonghwa’s birthday- the atmosphere was amazing. Had front row seats but my phone messed up and couldn’t record a lot. Got to see them arrive and get out of the vans and then they stuck their heads out of windows above the queues and waved at us as well. Had amazing seats for their 2020 tour in Wembley Arena, but COVID- so it didn’t happen. They let us choose to have a refund or keep the tickets and seats for next time, (which I did) so fingers crossed!

Yay I'm so happy you got around to this! This is one of the best guides but to get to know the guys personalities, there are additional ones if you'd like to check them out. There's the "who is ateez" by apple juice, as well as the "fall in love with the 8 members of ateez" vid others have mentioned. I only mention this because I feel like to really to get to know them you really have to be shown more of their off stage things and more background info about them as people. Also for me, I don't actually remember the info I get about groups unless I watch multiple guides in different styles, it helps solidify them in my mind if that makes sense. I'm so glad you got around to this, I absolutely love your ateez reactions and I'm happy you enjoy them so much. Idk what it is about them that speaks to the 2nd gen kpop fan in me haha. but speak it does, loudly. I love Yeosang, I really wish more fans appreciated him. Many don't because he (supposedly) isn't that confident in his vocals which is why he doesn't sing in their title tracks all that often compared to the others, at least. I hope he will gain that confidence one day, his voice is one of my faves in the group. Actually, appreciate him in general, he gets too much hate for merely existing and having fun (such as his experiment in trying to create a giant bubble, that was adorable to watch). Naturally, I love how savage he is but for all that, he is also really kind and caring towards his members and Atiny ^^
