Fun fact: MAMAMOO went out for a drink after their fanmeeting during their windflower promotion (there's vid of it on KZbin) they were so drunk af lol and they were so honest how they were so disappointed that WindFlower didn't even got a win because they personally like wind flower. This is hwasa's favorite title track. Moonbyul then said that "even if it's not in the charts as long as they make good music". Windflower is so underrated tbh :( but I'm glad windflower is getting the attention as it should have!

Something Mamamoo always does so well is adding long dramatic pauses in their videos to better convey the messages they're sending. I believe this was their longest and it's so heart crushing because you can feel their "rock bottom" and then the elation when they all get together to forget about their troubles.

The shooting was in Hongkong and the whole MV reference was Wong Kar Wai films. This MV is a phenomenon if I may say.

Wind Flower is so underrated. I love the fact that this is not a typical breakup song. Usually for breakup songs, the singer speaks about how the other person did them wrong and cue the sad lyrics. But MAMAMOO, the queens, took a different turn and were speaking about themselves not treating their partner right. This is so important. At times we need to introspect ourselves. This song forever will be special to me

I love your reaction and I love this MV. A few notes: This is shot in Hong Kong and done in the style of a famous Korean Noir director. A lot of the locations and the coloring are references to his films. The taxi scene with Solar and Moonbyul is a shot for shot recreation of a scene from a lesbian movie. And I love that in the street dancing Moonbyul is wearing a Buffy t-shirt.

The Restaurant in the end is in den Movie "PTU" by Johnnie To, The Mc Donals-scene is a reference to "Chungking Express" by Wong Kar Wei and the shot, where Moonbyul listen records are a reference to "The Killer" by John Woo. This MV is a great hommage to the Hong-Kong-Movies of the 80/90s. This style has inspired the new korean cinema.

Wind flower is definitely my favorite title track from MMM and I’m sure that it’s because the song and the lyrics are so melancholy. I honestly live for that bittersweet feeling you get from hearing something like this.

Thanks so much. You were so good at expressing your experience and had such great comments that you brought back the freshness to an MV I've seen dozens of times. Fantastic comment about the stages of getting over a breakup. As with all the 4 Season 4 Color MVs, they each portray their own take on the emotional theme of the song and in this one I think you're correct that they each represent a different stage. Their versatility as singers is well known but their versatile acting is usually overlooked even though the concepts and range of styles and emotions in the MVs is just as wide-ranging as their music.

Finally, Wind Flower! I've been waiting for you to watch this one. I love everything about this song. The aesthetic of the MV is 1990's Hong Kong film noir which is gorgeous.
