My mom died at 53 almost a year ago now. This first holiday season without her SUCKS! My dad walked out on her after 30 years and then came back into the picture heavy after she died (life insurance money and selling belongings did that)... I started watching OG Percy after a battle suggested these interviews. I take every bit of info and advice I can from OG. It's crazy that someone so different from me that I don't know at all can seem like a father figure. I love what yall do and am very grateful for you guys. YEA hold head IM going thru the samething MY MOMMA left US a lil over around 3 years ago and 2 years after MY DADDY joined her IM surprised HE lasted that long I knew once she left HE felt HE had nothing to live for the unique relationship I had with MY Parents especially MY MOMMA I was the Protector and problem solver of the Family at a young age and watchin her slowly fade away without a damn thing I could do about it like I usually do privately and secretly almost broke ME some days though I still can’t look at her picture or a video it has gotten easier most of the time now the hard weeks turned to days now sometimes I may dream of both of them for like a week straight and wake up crying in MY sleep then I smile cause I know WE are forever connected just live with strength she would want You to live with and remember she died to make you a better and stronger person so You can transfer that same strength to the ones thats under You who love You just as much as You loved her it’s a Beautiful cycle and that’s what keeps ME Smiling and I KNOW eventually it will do the same for You
