But that’s due to prisons being a cesspool of murderous psychopaths and sociopaths. A lot of those men, mentally, don’t need to be in hostile environments, and as a result they become more aggressive. The prison system needs to be reformed entirely. There was one man I saw who raped over 100 men. That’s NOT normal. The fact he was allowed to live amongst other inmates is criminal in itself. He should’ve been sent to a psyche ward. That’s literally abuse and its stressful for both his inmates and the guards. It’s no wonder a lot of people consider it a traumatizing experience…

There’s a pretty good chance they might not be downplaying it though cause specifically in California state prisons every race will basically just shank u up if you’re gay at all it doesn’t matter whether you’re the top or The bottom or a booty bandit they just get you up off the yard no matter what if u doing anything gay, which I think is why every dude I’ve ever heard in an interview who did time in cali in the past 30 years always says that they never saw any kind of prison rap3. It basically just comes down to whether the gangs allow it or not, not saying that it never ever happens in California but just that from every interview I’ve ever watched it’s supposed to be way way way less prevalent than in other states
@nitsuanomrah69972 жыл бұрын
@@howiemandel5787 there you go, it depends where you're at. I was locked up for a year and from what i saw, there was groups and gangs that stick together.. the gay group was one of them.. Everyone in there reffered to them as the punks. There was literally dudes with titts in there! So I guess what I'm saying there was no reason for someone to have to rape, because there's a group of punks for that I guess lol. I just worked out non stop kept to myself and got out of there, never even got in a fight. The only rape I ever heard of was a gang that basically gang raped a guy, but it was more of like to demasculate him and all that... business not pleasure I guess you call say. Dude did something to "deserve" it.
@jayservices96922 жыл бұрын
Nowadays rape is rare because more men are openly gay or bisexual or just gay to begin with. Back then prison rape was more common cuz less men were gay there was a very small minority of them since it was basically illegal and socially not accepted. But either way, jail isn’t the place to go prison rape or not. Even if you don’t get raped, you can still get hopped/jumped, beat up, stabbed and even killed. If you manage to avoid all that, you will still lose your sanity depending on how long your in there. Just stay outta jail basically.

Yea God has got to hate how we are living now. My grandmother said before she died…y’all got more money and degrees than ever but you still can’t find too many great black communities to even live in. We went ahead and backwards at the same time. Our principles are ass backwards. The family is the part we failing at bad. I know women who want kids but don’t want to marry the guy or even think he is a hood father. They just want a baby. Like it’s a toy. Way too many young black men still want to be gangsters …still think it’s cool to gang bang. We are living like dinosaurs. The vast majority of our community is.

I’m 21, just got off a 27 month bid in the county. Went in when I was 18. Wish i woulda seen these or even (unrealistically😂) have had these exact conversations with OG Percy before I went in😂. I was raised right though, really grew up living by the code and was raised in an inner-city, poor/lower-middle-class environment yes, but, raised by parents who thought me good mannerisms, common sense and class despite our surrounding circumstances. So I not only managed to make it out of jail alive but also came out a smarter, stronger, more spiritually tuned-in soul. I didn’t go out bad in jail, carried myself as a real man does and didn’t bully either. Was never The Sheep and only The Wolf when I needed to be. From what I’ve seen of Percy as a Young Bull watching his rap battles and what I see now from these interviews, I was basically another him. I felt this interview and the facts stated in it down to the soul I swear. More Young Blacc Kings need to see this before they fall victim to the system. Love, Stay Blessed.

Well, I did 4.5 years from 1997 to 2001, and I have to say my personal experience was quite different from OG's. I was just told to stay to myself and to be myself, and that I would be good. A whole lot of young brothers be fronting and talking gangsta shit walking thru the gates coming into prison. Making a lot of noise is the worst way to introduce yourself to that environment. With all that being said, all I can speak on is my own personal experience. Homosexuality and booty bandits and kill artists all exist inside the prison system. But my guess is that different cultures and/or environments exist in different prisons based on how those prisons are run by wardens and staff. The prisons I was at had systemic control in most situations. They told you when to eat, sleep, smoke, watch tv, etc. For the most part, the inmates did NOT run the prison.

Hallelujah for His acknowledgment to our Father!! Hallelujah! I worked those walls.. & he ain’t lying!! It would hurt me to see the young men fresh in. Born in the 90s-2000s with 20 years! Just sad to say the least!

Trouble is in prison but 90% of it is how you carry yoirself and who you associate with. I had my share of fights when i was in but mostly if you keep your hands out the pot you good but if trouble finds you its a must to handle it immediately.
