This song came out when I was in middle school and it was one of my favorite songs at the time (though it never got any airplay, it was just one of those that kids in the know shared with each other), I even bought the cassette. Thanks for posting this video, I love this dude's awesome robot moves. I don't know who the hell he is, but he gets my respect for the sharpness of his pops, and his smooth moonwalks.

I agree. Too much jerk-popping. That's his whole style, a jerky explosive hit. But it's too one note. You don't always have to hit max power every beat. I think that's why a lot of people don't like Scorpio's style. A lot of less experienced poppers will see the jerky power of his hit, but the more experienced ones will know that you don't want to always hit the single bop (1/4 note beats) with your max bop hit EVERY SINGLE TIME. It gets musically repetitive, not to mention it'll wear you out fast. Instead, feel free to explore the realms of the double bop (1/8 note beats) -- here if you can max bop every single 1/8 note beat you're ticking. Then you can can do slo-mo, animation, 3D bop (every 16/th note), triplet bop which is really a form of animation, strobing, fast forward) and then you return to that home base single bop. Oops, if Scorpio reads this I just helped him level way up. So yeah, Scorpio, when you bop, don't jerk your whole core out--just your chest. Right now you're jutting your core out and it just looks weird. Don't flick you tongue out and lick your lips so much, it probably grosses a lot of women out. Abandon that bicycle mime skit, it's not funky--either work on making it smoother--well just stop jerk popping it. It's a new domain for you to explore, discover some new ways of manipulating your movement. Don't be so concerned about hitting so hard, it's not a pissing contest. Harness and train your jerk, modulate it, turn it more into muscle control, learn the whole range of musicality, and you'll be a beast.
