Very happy for Oga especially he was also in Risu's 3D debut. But Area 15 ganging up to him in the game seems funny for various reasons involving him. Moona will be like: "Forget the water bottle incident!" While Iofi could be: "Why your tears for Risu (HoloFest where Area 15 first performed) was real but for mine was calcuted?" Risu doing it could be because she just wants to while yelling: "Where's my food?" 😅

It's always so heartwarming seeing how close Oga and Risu are especially since I'm a fan of both! Oga's really a genius with mascot designing so I'm glad his designs go everywhere -- we have Risusaurus plushie and now Riscot and Risusaurus also added to the game 🫶 Hopefully he can also play as himself too someday soon!

Usada Casino makes it look like the next update will be Hololive Gen 3 and probably 4 but after that who knows? Kay Yu has explicitly said he wants to put the boys in eventually but Cover is really big.

@@adamlakeman7240 Oh, it will likely be well over a few years before the boys are implemented. Two at most if he genuinely does plan to add them after he's done the girls. Honestly not sure how long it takes big updates to come out.

I'd expect Stars in 3 updates' time. Keeps the "sidebranch -> 2 JP gens -> 2 JP gens" pattern running for another cycle. Also after the sallow reception to Vanguard, leaving a Stars update until *after* HoloX is likely in the boys' best interest lmao.

@@option3590 Perhaps, but Vanguard is going even strong, if not stronger than HQ for now. I mean Bettel and Hakka are both the ones who are standing out. What with superchats for Bettel and awesome covers from Hakka. That being said, I was also thinking along your line of when they'd be released too: 0.7 is Gen 3 and 4, 0.8 is Gen 5 and 6, and 0.9 (which is just as fitting) are the 9 Main Holostars. Then perhaps 1.0 could be Uproar and HQ, and then 1.1 would be Vanguard and Advent.

Oga's designs made it in the game Let's go. I also realized that almost all of the bosses in Stage 4 and especially the mini bosses are the mascots of the ID mems, except for those who don't have one.

Im a fan of oga's cute designs and drawings! Oga it's really a cute guy, and watching his reaction seeing his designs makees me happy. He also created Shiens mascot, a ton of designs for fubuki, risu, etc. He makes and gifts drawings and gifs for all his friends like kobo, ollie, all of holostars, etc. Such a cool and cute demon!

Thinking about the future, kay yu usually adds ~10 characters per update. next would likely be JP gen 3 and 4. 5 and 6 are likely paired too. but then EN 3 is only 5 members. so maybe add a single holostars gen to make it ~10? although adding holostars is already gonna cause mixed opinions, and mixing them with EN and just hololive girls in general might have more issues too...

Adding a Stars Gen and a gals Gen at once would have one benefit in that even people not interested in Stars would have more reason to play that update. They'd be separate Banners anyway so they aren't really "mixing" them.

For Stars, they will likely be added as the OG9 from Gen 1~3 in one banner like with the ID girls. In the case of Uproar and Tempus, I can see all 8 Tempus members being added as one banner, and Uproar as another, but it’ll be odd to have just the four members of Uproar as an update because of how the other updates have been. So they might be added along with another Live gen like a previous reply said. Or there could be a different major update in the game to go along with the Uproar bois.

The difference is that Mumei did not meant her images to be other than her own stream's content. Oga's mascots are his gift to Risu, one has been used permanently as YT emoji while the other one has been used for merch (as well as as frequent gif for her steeam layout)
