Hello, I recently got back into playing and I've watched many of your videos because I'm also a miner. I wanted to ask you for advice on defenses since you never show them, and on life forms too.

I like to keep defence as low as possible on my planets as it's not really a worthwhile way to spend resources. I make sure to clean off all planets at the end of the day though so there's nothing left overnight. Lifeforms I can't say too much on yet unfortunately, as we don't have them here

Nice video as always pls keep posting them when it comes to ogame... I wanted to ask you why do you think you are gonna need more energy? Is there some buildings or researches that require alot of energy when it comes to lifeforms? Sry my uni also still doesnt have lifeforms

I heard that the lifeforms features will require a lot of energy which is why I did this. That said though if the extra energy is not immediately needed, it will still be useful for when the mines get a bit higher. Unfortunately don't know too much about lifeforms yet though

hii, im a new player, and i need to upgrade my investigation speed. Im playing in the app, in the phone, and it doesn't give as much information as it does in the PC by faaaar. What does the intergalactic research network technology? it says it speeds your investigations, but how much?

IRN basically takes the total research lab level across your planets, so if you have IRN level 5 and 5 planets with a level 11 research lab, the research times will be for a level 55 research lab. It's worth researching but you don't want to take it higher than the total amount of planets you have

You need level 25 to complete the achievement for it now, so it does have use past level 12

That entirely depends on your mines but I think energy tech 19-20 would be a good time to consider changing if you were going to

What uni are you in? I'd love to start ogame again as explorer changing late game into collector So something with high eco, no df from defenses and slow fleet speeds Is it viable to start in old universes? Won't i be mauled by the top guys?

The universe I am in (universe 1) would be ideal for you (8x eco 1x fleet speed) . I can't guarantee you won't be attacked, but this is a mostly miners uni now so definitely the best choice for what you are after in my opinion

Why r u spending that much on fusion reactor and energy search ? Why don’t u go satelites instead ?

You can't use sats in slot 15 as they produce virtually no energy, plus the fusion reactor gives a permanent energy source that can not be destroyed

Planet fields might have been a problem, but at that point, it would have been cheaper to just go for 1 more level of fusion reactor on all planets and get twice the energy you got from 1 level of energy research. It would have cost about 10 bil metal, 4 bil crystal, 2 bil deuterium. Converting all that into metal for simple calculations , it would be about 19 bil metal, as opposed to approximately 42 bil metal for the energy tech. Very poor investment at that point. You should have made fusion higher, and at the point at which you wouldn't want to occupy any more fields, then make energy research. I am guessing you had your planets at slot 15 before the big overhaul on the extra resource production in every position? As right now slot 8 is just better in the long run. Especially since it helps you get much higher terraform.

You are forgetting that every level of fusion reactor increases the deuterium used as well plus uses an extra field so I think I made a good decision for long term play. As for planet positions, there was no bonus for the higher slots when I relocated into slot 15 and i'm not willing to spend to move planets back

@@MCWUKGaming yah, at this point it is to late, it's not worth it anymore to relocate. I am no forgetting about the extra deuterium consumption, but the consumption is so small that is is irrelevant. it is something like 6-7% of your hourly production, it's basically nothing. But like i said in my previous comment, that the fields might have been a problem. Anyway, the research becomes so ridiculously expensive that you are kind of forced to go deeper into fusion reactor weather you want to or not.
