I have tried omega runs a few times, but the time that has always haunted me is I did the whole omega run was fighting mother when I went to switch over to use the book of shadows because I had school bag, and I clicked the R key… so I never actually killed mother. It haunts me every time I think of doing an Omega run.

Quick comment. Paused the video to write. You can enter the cursed room for free with the ventricle razor. Put a portal right next to the entrance, put another portal elsewhere, enter that one and when you leave in the portal next to the entrance, imediatelly enter. You have a tiny amount of i-frames after you leave a portal.

Yup completely correct, you can also use that trick to open spike chests for free as well

For logging out during exploding reroll machines manipulation or pause buffering with glitch crown, I'd consider that unintentional game manipulation, but this is just placing the portal next to an item. I rate this with navigating between spikes and taking no damage, but that's me.

On the thread of the external item description talk: I don't know how much people (sin in particular) keep up with mewgenics blogposts, but edmund stated in one of the recent ones that in his mind one of the biggest flaws with isaac is not having item descriptions in the hud. He said that he's asked nicalis to add it to the game once the online multiplayer is released.

Truthfully I personally support using console to remove Mom's knife if it "ruins" a run, I think the run looked way more metal prior to the pickup and would have fully endorsed the removal of it

Ventricle razor grants immunity frames!!! You could go into the curse room taking no damage at all! Also you can play blood donation machines for free!!

If you use Vent Razor directly in front of the curse room door you can use the invincibility frames from jumping to get through the door with no damage

Ventricle razor can get you into and out of cursed rooms for free (yes, I know how much you like free). Just put the portal next to the entrance and hop out of it into the room. The I frames protects you.

You can place the hole outside the curse door and utilize the Iframes to get in then ventricle inside and jump out with out loss of health

Kamakiri streak day 18: I found out that using the command “SetDifficultyValue (number here)” command in ARK can allow you to go above the default difficulty settings in a solo Ark. The max level of the Dino’s is 30x the number you put in (for example 6 is 150 and 14 is 420). Very fun.

I've had an omega run before with old tainted cain. It's kind of cheesy, but it was easy to look up the bag of crafting recipes and craft the best items in the game and multiple r-keys.

Day 421 of listing items by item ID: Kidney Bean! Definitely another under-the-radar item, very strong to charm enemies in every room. Also day 73 of underrated items (and trinkets): Ace of Spades! More cards usually leads to more fun.

it's months later, but i'm catching up on old content. i almost had an omega run yesterday. the only thing that got me was that i forgot to do the alt path in the depths. i had the knife, i just couldn't use it, so i screwed it up. i had the double R key and everything. had already taken care of blue baby and the lamb. was a sad day.

I am tired of the Disrespect being shown to 7 seals, it is an amazing item that provides great dps when your in dire straights with garbage stats. I have personally beaten an entire run including lamb and victory lap with only 1 stat upgrade and 7 seals.

Agreed! I think the blast radius on the explosive locusts was reduced, making it harder for it to friendly fire. 7 seals is always an instant take on my own runs.
