In his first ever interview in his mother tongue, Yoruba, the Nigerian indigenous rap pioneer open up on his humble beginning, life, career, upbringing, struggles, and the sacrifices of his late mom to give him a good life and how he went from an egg hawker on the streets of Kano to being the pioneer of indigenous rap in Nigeria.
Enjoy!

Oh my God,I never knew that this guy is this funny,honestly I am really enjoying this interview.This is always the problem with people like us that comes from a polygamous home,you will end up spending forty years for a journey that should take you not more than five years,that is even if they allow you to get to your destination.Polygamy,I will never wish it even for my enemies.

I LIVE IN USA AND WAS PREPARING TO SLEEP AT NIGHT WHEN I STARTED TO WATCH THIS INTERVIEW,BUT I NOTICED THAT NIGHT IT WILL BE AN INTERESTING ONE AND I DECIDED TO PAUSE IT TILL NEXT DAY. I COULDN'T BELIEVE I TEARS ROLLED OUT OF MY EYES,PARTICULARLY WHENEVER HE TALKS ABOUT HER MOM,THE STORY IN A WAY LOOKS LIKE MINE. MAY OUR MOTHERS CONTINUE TO REST IN PERFECT PEACE.THOUGH MR IDRIS ABDUKAREEM EMBARRASSED ME AT EKO HOTEL AS A JOURNALIST BEFORE WHICH I TOOK AS ONE OF THOSE THINGS. I NEVER KNEW HE COULD BE THIS CALM I PRAY HE CAN CONTINUE THIS WAY IN APPROACHING SITUATIONS,ALOT OF PEOPLE WILL BE READY TO LISTEN TO HIM. I CELEBRATE YOU THE LIVING LEGEND,GOD BLESS YOU AND FAMILY.

This is the best interview I have watched so far on your programme 👌 👍 its entertaining, motivational, enlightenment and give hopes for those that are going through the same at the moment. This what am expecting in the episode of King Saheed Osupa I was so disappointed all the questions you asked him was already known or being show from previous interviews, I guess that is why we're human. Please I will appreciate if there's another edition for King Saheed Osupa... well done and keep on the good work

Thank you for the detailed feedback. We are glad you enjoyed it. Osupa’s interview’s was cut short because he had an emergency that he had to attend to. We are working with him to complete the interview. We will keep you posted. Thanks!

I listened and watched this with so much empathy and sympathy. Your journey was a tough one, and I’m really happy for you. However, you should get your facts right. Obasanjo did not remove history from the school curriculum. It was a Hausa man, UMARU YARADUA who did. Whatever grudge you’ve held against Obasanjo, please, go and drop it. Obasanjo does not begrudge you, I don’t know why you’re still holding on to the nonsense
@OsirisHuxley
@OsirisHuxley Жыл бұрын
You're talking nonsense. When i was in secondary school in the millennium, history was an elective instead of being mandatory. So stop revising history with trying to be pro Yoruba. It's intellectual dishonesty
