another thing about the spell to point out is that since the tokens don't lock you and they're level 2, you can now run a small spright engine if you want or just spright sprind to setup level 2's in your GY for more plays. Card is crazy good even if it's not what they needed.

Honestly after playing around with the new guy a bit more I like him a lot. Makes it easier to do the Cosmic Slicer combo and makes it so that you don't have to give your opponent free stuff to bring back your Ogdoadics. It makes your resource loop a lot more solid. The summoning restriction is not ideal but even though we still need some better reptiles Echidna, Cosmic Slicer and Ogdoabyss are all pretty good. You pretty much already said everything that can be said about the spell, it's amazing. Great video.

Dehalove! Im new to the channel and ogdoadic. Was interested in the archetype since it was announced but finally picked it up after fallin in love with it in the recent master duel type-limited festival, just in time for then to receive new support no less. Just wanted to say i appreciate the videos and the insight you share. Thanks to your suggestion about trying saryuja plays with the new spell (which is super consistent but a bit fragile), i found a connection and excuse to combine ogdoadic with bystial control which i also love. It seems promising so far and can't wait for AGOV to drop

That's so awesome to hear! I think bystials are a very clean combo, and I'm very excited to try builds with the spell! I think it will drastically shake up the deck's plays

Dawn of Creation looks like one of those cards that feels like it should be "that one support card" we say we need to make the deck good, and it probably is cracked, but I wonder if it'll actually make the deck much better because we're still ending on mostly the same stuff. Well, unless you use the tokens to go into something completely different I guess. The cards look good, Nef seems cool as a big snake whose role is they summon themselves & one other without tributes off your mills. If I'm understanding it right, any card like Snake Rain that can mill after discarding as cost can both put it in grave and trigger the summon if you happened to open it, which is neat. That would mean leading with a Nef play and instantly locking into reptiles though.

I totally agree. Dawn is honestly better than I ever hoped a support card would be but something is still missing. We need a true boss monster. The closest is Ogdoabyss but he wipes your own board more often than not

I could see the new 10 beeing really good if we would get more good reptiles in the extra deck. Especially good ones to end on.

Thoughts on horus ogdoadic
@Dehalove Жыл бұрын
They honestly don't look like they synergize at all to me. I only gave them a precursory look, but they seem unrelated aside from the fact that they also like to be in the graveyard. They look weak and unimpactful as they are focused on being affected by the opponent
@jaredricci9278 Жыл бұрын
@Dehalove horus weak no my man rank 8 spam engine. Pairs very well with ogdoadic. Was curious on your thoughts but now nvm
@Dehalove Жыл бұрын
Ogdoadic already makes rank 8s. It doesn't need a worse supplement with no direct synergy. Can you point out which Horus card is good? I might have missed one!
