See, that big red cover plate. There is a hydraulic rotating bushing just as is in the rotary table. For staging pipe going into or out of the well. ...designed the weight of a "stand", 90' or 3 Joints of pipe. Most all US Rigs have the tool. And now for the rest of the story, My father invented that tool. My brother & I are still in the oilfield equipment, repair & supply business. If you don't have an oilwell, get one!
