Kim Hongjoong is the member you pointed out in the bucket hat! He's a 98 liner and is the second oldest, as well as the leader of ATEEZ. He's really the founding block of ATEEZ-- He started out wanting to write music and actually submitted a few pieces to KQ because they're the company of Block B who he really enjoyed. It took about a year, but they found the music and brought him on board, and ultimately decided to start a group. When he was brought in be had no experience in singing, rapping, or dancing, but is now the leader of ATEEZ, one of their rappers, and has composed the songs Aurora, Sunrise, Horizon, and Good Lil Boy. He also has lyric writing credits for most of their discography with Mingi, the deep voiced rapper. He has a HUGE stage presence, and does really well with both blending into the choreography when he needs to as well as standing out when he's center. Just fyi, he's the pretty one that held the flag in Treasure at the beginning and also the one in the red that called himself a pirate king in Pirate King! (You can usually tell he's about to rap because he typically puts in a little laugh right before his bit, but moreso in their bsides rather than their title tracks.)

Hala Hala is such an iconic Ateez song~ Their stage presence is unreal and they truly bring their performances to life. Even the outfits are iconic, they still reference these outfits in several other of their mvs/title tracks. Love the ateez reactions! It would be amazing if you delved into the members too and checked out a guide of them!
@rise19964 жыл бұрын
What I love about ATEEZ is that synchronisation isn't their aim, they manage to be so unique yet stay cohesive as a dance unit with so much damn swag - keep in mind they're like four months old here 😭they really emulate the emotion of each song and it really translates to their live performances (it's also why they're known as stage kings!) Loved this reaction 💛

Its funny you should mention how good the performance aspect of this is because they call themselves performers rather than idols. Also their choreography isn't always perfectly synchronised as they all have quite distinct styles but personally I think this & their facial expressions when they dance really adds to the overall performance.
