Ugh, I need a time machine so I can go to all those amazing concerts and live shows of artists from the 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's! My wonderful mother brought me up on all of this music! Why can't music we have music today like back then? It's not fair! The closest thing I could find today is synthwave or new retro wave artists like Jessie Frye, Gavin Turek, Jessie Ware, Nina, Ollie Wride, Primo the Alien, Ultraboss, etc.

Probably the best live rendering of "The Tide Is High", w/ full orchestra, chorus, and fanfare. Deborah was great and commanding. At this point, Blondie was about to explode again...thankfully.

One other thing: this performance is almost a generation after Debbie Harry'/Blondie's original recording of it. From their appearance, most of the audience here hadn't even reached double figures agewise at that point. Yet they know, and love, every word of its lyrics. Pretty cool.

Absolutely lovely memories!! As being a Debbie Fan for about 45 years now it was amazing to see her again on her 78th. I took the mother of my 3 god children one of my best friends with me, we had a fantastic day so thank you for this reminder!! Perfect probably my favourite part of the day xxx ❤😊

Love this song, the magnificent orchestra and the silky sound of blondie. She momentarily went off lyric which burped the song but recovered quickly. How she involved the audience participation made it sweeter. Beautiful!
