If your watching for optimized lists, you’ll be waiting awhile on this channel. Skaven can be powerful especially with dual screaming bells and stormvermin/plague monks. This guy had bad hero phase rolls which didn’t help at all.

It's a solid game, just make sure you get a 2.0 army if you want to have fun.

It would be unwise to pick up the Greenskinz Start Collecting box, for example, because they've basically been rendered obsolete. Also, keep in mind that some armies have Battletomes that are unusable now and have been replaced with newer ones.

I really enjoyed this battle report. I love me some good ol’ fashioned Oh-greys. And Skaven are always entertaining, even to play against. I would love to see an absolutely Gnoblar heavy list. Big blobs of the little gribblies with many a scrap launcher support. Just to change it up.

If I buy into Ogors, I'm going to forgo Gluttons entirely and focus on Gnoblars and Scraplaunchers, backed up by Ironguts (because the models are very cool).

In my opinion I feel like against any unrefined list Ogres just crap all over them with little skill coming into play. Ossiarch Bonereapers and Mawtribes seem a little bit too noob friendly for my taste. But won't stop me from watching the MWG guys have fun xD.

I need an info: I played vs Plague Monks a couple of weeks ago, and for every model I killed, my opponent rolled a dice and on a 6 he did a mortal wound. Why is it not like that in this battle?

Whether that be what most go for and simply use it if one face is prominently up or whether you can balance another die on it, or another system they go for, as long as there is consistency. If you need evidence that this would be welcomed by the viewers, look at the likes such comments get. I gather that they are for fun, but a bit of consistency goes a long way to dispelling notions of foul play or dishonest behaviour.

A couple of rules errors in the batrep but humans doing human things happens. That being said, this was probably one of the most fun Beat Matt Batreps I’ve watched! The guest was fun and knowledgeable and, while I usually don’t like Matt dice grumbling, watching him spike a lot of his roles was fun to see his reaction. GG guys, can’t wait for more!

Not to be that guy, but when your ThunderMace hit the Vermin Lord with the few 6's ( think they where 6's) you did enough mortal wounds to kill it. You still killed it so it really didnt mater but just FYI. Still a great game with the Ogor's...Ill need to test scraplaunchers next time I have a horde army to fight.

Hehe Ogor troops are so expensive it looks like its 1000p vs 2000p match xD I have been thinking of starting AoS army after I get my space marines fixed which should be in a month :D. Ogors were 1 of my choices because then I don't need to paint 100 goblins, skinks or ratman :D Are Ogors a strong army now that they got their battletome and united troops with beastclaw? My other option would be Disciples of Tzeentch.

If you faced a 60 man block of zombies then you would have known. I'm sure he built stormfiends this way and didn't want to proxy other weapons. Warpfire is poor choice against this army, but it works excellent in most scenarios.

I love the batrep and thanks for the content, but I can't help but wonder, what bases are those ogors on? They all look a bit off. It seemed like gluttons were on 50s and the heros were on 40s or something. Maybe just the way they were painted/based? All ogor heros are supposed to be on 50mm bases now and standard gluttons, leadbelchers and ironguts on 40s. It's not a big deal if they aren't, just trying to see what they were on here.

I think they look off because part of the ogres are on bases that are 40mm on both the top and bottom of the base. The sides GW bases have a slight angle, so the top of the base is slightly narrower than the bottom.
