Okay, this is super impressive! Very unique! The bass port looks cool but in a straight line, it would look super serious, especially when the bass module has the same wood as the OGY. Straight port, walnut chassis, black speakers would be my dream combination. ^^

Very nice! Is it also possible to combine the Ogy + Stands with a pair of BOBs ?
@closeracoustics61548 ай бұрын
well in fact I am planning to add some kind of short stands to be placed on top of one pair of BOBs in order to save space and have OGY's driver at the height of ears (90 cm). as I get quite a lot of queries about it..

Mount the OGY's speaker driver at the top of the bass module in an open baffle configuration, change the xover to 350hz (at least 12db/octave, preferably 24) and you will have a much more open sound, better room interaction a la Allison Ones technology, better blending and one cool looking speaker. Just my opinion.

Should you just make a new speaker based on the drivers you are using?

I don’t think so. The Ogy itself is fine. I do not want any vented cabinets for example. The sound from these is very good.
