J and D we relieved that Fiona wasn’t the cause of your break in videos- and Covid or no Covid you deserve a break. Glad you are feeling better and ready for a cosy winter. We are kicking ourselves for not installing a wood stove. Especially now that we have soooo many fallen trees. We are south of port morien and we’re 13 days without power but compare to others we can’t complain. Our trees fell the right direction. Hope your families were also spared by Fiona. Lots of love.

Oh my goodness 13 days! That's so long! Hope you are doing well and ready for a cozy winter as well Monika. You could use the trees next year! Google energy efficiency Nova scotia grants and you can get a little back in rebates from wood stoves/heat pumps. We're in the process.

Glad you made it through Fiona and Covid safely the same week! The western side of Cape Breton fared quite well during the storm. Dorian 3 years ago did more damage on this side of the island. We lost our power for 4 days during that storm but only 24 hours this time. Still, we don't want to see any hurricanes any time soon. Always next year for your greenhouse experiment.

Thank you Cindy! We wanted to keep a few to breed and make a shelter for winter but then we decided that withot having a proper barn built and how much snow we get, we just are not equipped to keep sheep in the winter. They will all be gone to freezer camp next month. You have a great week too!

I'm delighted you and yours' are ok. When it comes to dealing with disappointment from your greenhouse fiasco, I recommend you count your achievements. Look back at all your videos and acknowledge (everyday) all you've accomplished. This is how I turn myself around when I hit problems.
