Amen. People who have never had the experience only see us speaking in tongues, when there is so much more that goes on in that experience. I remember I felt so much joy and peace, clean, and just wow. I'm not sure I was slain in the Spirit, but I remember God giving me visions of my future. Bits and pieces of those visions I have seen come true, but there's just more than tongues that come with receiving the Holy Spirit. And there's more that comes with receiving it than just an experience.

i believe that everyones experience with Tongues and the Holy Ghost is their own PERSONAL experience. I have watched this video over 100 times, and sometimes i would just weep and other times massive worship comes over me and then other times TONGUES so uncontrollable. I think each of us experience GOD in our own ways and there is not SET OF RULES to go by, when the holy ghost moves on you and what ever comes out of you is what you will do and experience.

Are you kidding?? well I'm glad that they have changed the lyric for people like you. We (at my church) sing it sloppy wet kiss because it is much more impactful and as I said before IT ISN'T EVEN TALKING ABOUT GOD IN THAT LYRIC!!! My wife even likes the sloppy wet kiss version much better. And yes, I would love sloppy wet kisses! And we aren't supposed to connect with God in that lyric line. Again, nothing to do with God as a person in that line!!

I pray in tongues aswell, but I don't do it just because I'm touched by a video. When I pray I speak both in tongues and in real language as the Spirit leads (usually). So I know what I pray for. I can understand that you get calm and peaceful from praying, but you don't really know what you're praying for.. Don't get me wrong, but it seems more like an emotional response than something that has actual foundation in the Bible..

I like sloppy wet kiss much better. It isn't even refering to God in that line...it's talking about the collision of heaven and earth through God's grace and for me that picture is much more like a sloppy wet kiss than just a beautiful kiss. I think beautiful kiss makes it less impactful and more gentle when I feel like it is nothing like that.
