The hook is a 2.5MM. If you pause the video, you can expand the image. Can’t help with yarn weight. Looks like sport weight, or dk, 2 or 3 weight yarn. Couldn’t you use any hook or yarn? Just use the hook size recommended for the yarn, on the wrapper.
