I like the idea that not every trick in a video has to be a double cork 720. Seeing a huge, tweaked out method air that a guy holds for a good four seconds, or a slow rotating frontside 360 is still cool AF to me. Not every trick needs to be some impossible whirly bird trick to look cool. You get see way more style from the rider on the more basic moves. Good for you guys for keeping the lines clean, the styles fresh and pow deep brother.

I get what you mean but you also have to bare in mind it’s significantly harder to toss big rotations in the backcountry without a hard solid surface to build momentum into. Also very hard to land the tricks since any forward weight will just throw you tomahawking down the mountain. Not even Travis rice or mcmorris can do bigger spins without building a really solid kicker first. In deep powder, even a 540 is really technical.

I'm a bit concerned about the amount of helicopter / pickup trucks / snowmobile etc.. Climate warming is a very real threat for the snow-sports world, and that kind o looks like highly privileged snowboarding, sawing the branch they're sitting on.
