I dont think it's that he didnt feel guilt. I think he comparmentalized it. Like he was so focused on Mando and their happiness he didnt want to think about it, or face reality. Selfish yes, but understandable

Being gay is not something that a gay man should ever have to appologise for. Having an affair, yes, but not being gay. And this series makes it seem like he should be ashamed of being gay...HOMOPHOBIA, clear and simple. Shame on the writers for writting such a script. Society and cultures make it very difficult for young men to realize there homosexuality in their youth, because the culture forces young men to be straight and punishes them when they are not straight. And religion is the thing that drives this homophobia.

i dont agree at all. this series hasnt made it seem like anyone should be ashamed of anything other than being unfaithful relationships. it just doesnt pretend like the stigma surrounding homosexuality doesnt exist. a lot of young people DO feel the way Mando has shown and there's no reason to deny that happens. In fact, it has several characters who have made no excuses for who they are, and even couples that have gone on to live proudly and happily. considering its a drama meant to make you feel complex and heavy emotions, i dont think they should have done anything differently.

I don’t see anywhere they portrayed homophobia.. you read that wrong.. what is shown is exactly what society is.. making people apologize and ashamed of themselves for being anything other than heterosexual.. which is just an ideal that holds nothing.. no one should apologize for, ashamed of or be discriminated against for whatever sexuality they are.. Mando simply told her he was gay so she could grasp what was happening .. and that he had had an affair with her own brother while still her boyfriend.

Could you find a more clueless person in this world then her? Because this character was so, so, so clueless and unaware makes the writing of this story and the directing so bad not to realize that there is no human in this world that could ever, ever be that oblivious to her surroundings. Especially in this specific scene. For that reason I completely stopped watching. This is the only second BL that I stopped watching because of the stupidity of the writer and director. Did they think that ever BL viewer if fourteen and don't know about those things and don't care? I might add that despite the very bad writing and direction, the female actress is excellent.
