Let's answer your questions and also add a couple of clarifications. Firstly i want to point out that this was not Diana's first Audition, she has been singing and winning on every vocal competition possible since the age of 5, she had won over 50 national and international vocal competitions by the age of 14, that is why she is a vocal master even at such young a young age, you should see her even at the age of 10, you wouldn't even believe that her voice is that of a 10 year old. Anyways, this is her first audition on this particular show, which was her first step in to fame, her every performance on this show is legendary level and this is the one that started it all. - Yes this is Igor Krutoy, he bought her an apartment in Moscow after she won this vocal competition, in order for her to be able to attend the best music/arts school of her choice, she was living in the other side of the continent till then. - The bracelet on her hand says "Diana". - Diana is a very confident person, she has said in an interview that she never felt stage fright in her life and it is logical since she grew up singing in stages in front of thousands of people. What could be interpreted as nervousness here is her perfect acting and her ability to immerse herself in every song in order to give 200% of the feelings back to her audience, she is just that good. - "Rechenka" was her third song on this competition, "Derniere Danse" was her first, "This is a man's world" was her second one, maybe you would want to check that out, i am sure you will be impressed as always with her extreme talent, there is a playlist on the channel where you got that video with all her performances on that competition in chronological order. Interesting facts about Diana - Krutoy. Maybe some of this is a rumor and maybe it's true, but this is what I found out. After performing the song "Rechenka (little sweet river)", at the awards ceremony, Krutoy donated an apartment in the center of Moscow to Diana through his foundation. To be closer to music schools. He also offered her a 10-year contract, but Diana refused, saying "I value my hard-won freedom too much to give it to anyone". Krutoy respected this and became her "shadow patron" and house friend. To be fair her first successful television talent show audition. She tried Voice kids at age 13, where the producer insisted she sing Jodel time (for variety), and none of the clown judges turned. There was a huge scandal. It was the most viewed Voice performance of any contestant on YT, who didn't made it into the live show. (until it was taken down)

@@MolnarG007 Yes, it became such an embarrassment for them they chose to remove it, but it still exists as independent recordings. Personally I am glad she was not selected, because hardly any winner of the Voice became a success after the show. I believe it actually helped Diana become even more determined to go her own way.

And all the nasty details.... like they even played Jodel time with different faster rhythm, there were no rehersal with the band, etc. I loevd Elizbaeth Zahoff's reaction from The Charismatic Voice, flipping out. Later they all invited her to their concerts, performances. But we all know how little their musical knowledge was, not taking her just because of a genre.

@@MolnarG007 I check quite a few channels that run various "Best singer/Best song/Best video" polls over there, and it pleases me SO much to see Diana's stuff doing way better than those judges offerings, the judges who let the greatest vocalist of the 21st century slip through their fingers! I am smiling right now actually! 😊 I've followed Diana since her very first solo concert in Togliatti at 13yo when she totally stunned me to tears. Since then she has grown immeasurably and is still surprising me! 😊 Very few vocalists have ever come close to her abilities.

Diana Ankudinova had been winning vocal competitions for almost 10 years at this stage of her life. I think you are mistaking the feelings of the character in the song for a lack of confidence of the singer. In fact, her Rechenka performance that you mentioned was only a month or so after this one!
