I wonder what all the decisions (not shown) were about... Wouldn't expect Rodriguez to be a player who triggers a lot of disputes of that sort. (Momen either, but I could see Momen being triggered by other players. Just wouldn't have guessed Rodriguez was one of them(

None of the decisions (not shown in the highlights) seemed very contentious but the ref was very strict about there being no comments from anyone on the court. Momen fell foul of that enough to suffer first a warning and then a conduct stroke.

so at 1:50 there is a mega rally going on. very entertaining squash. then why do we have to listen to 2 commentaters talking about fantasy missing suitcases and who of the woman's squash players you would like to share their stuff with. you might as well put a mic on the supporter stands. probly more insight in the game. i think it was a tourney in paris that had a native french commentator. i really liked that commentator. actually talked about the mental game. what happened. and mostly, what could have done more. thats insight commentating

Settle down. In an hour long game, that took up maybe a 1 minute or two. Other commentators do similar non squash related stuff all the time.

As others have said, it's just 1 minute out of the whole match. But in any case, that talk mattered, since Rodriguez actually lost his bag in the trip, and had to ask another squash player for clothes. The famous "shoe rally" that happened in this match, was precisely because he wasn't using his usual shoes. So, it was relevant to the match. Even the interviewer at the end of the match brought that topic up.

I didn’t mind it at all, in fact that chatter was the highlight of the commentary as it was in the right context about Rodriguez and his lost luggage and having to borrow Sherbini’s sports clothes. It was also crucial in the shoe rally as it’s not his usual shoes.
