I had a similar experience In Return of rhe King, not Matrix related though, when Frodo was about to throw the ring in Mount Doom but was hesitating. Keanu is a rare soul, an old one at that. His determination is legendary. To have a herniated disk compress your spinal cord and start paralyzing your legs is a HUGE deal. Yet, he got his spine fused and insisted on training, knowing how much of a risk he is taking. At the same time, Hugo injured his hips and had to go to surgery for that. It just shows you, how much effort these actors put into the movies. True legends right there and it shows.

Listening to them geek out about Matrix scenes is so damn awesome. Trinity with the dual Series 81s was iconic. If there's one thing that sets The Matrix apart from most action movies of the time it's the gun-porn and the martial arts. Sure, a lot of both is not realistic in the slightest, but it was consistent within its own established universe. Everything from the John Woo style MP5Ks in the lobby, to the black Desert Eagles in slow-motion as Agents close in.
