I had to do the same a year ago. Please know, your pain, loss, loneliness, self isolation and separation from the world is known and shared. If I didn’t have God, there would be no reason to go on. My precious Mother is in Glory with my Lord. That is how I lift my eyes to Him, give thanks for what time we shared here on earth and He gives me the strength to carry on without her. I am awaiting His return, so I can be present with them, walking with my hand in my mother’s hand, giving glory to our Lord and Savior. How I agree with you. I am white. I have a white friend who has adorable mixed grandkids. She will say "I can totally understand why blacks hate white people!" She has lead a privileged life and is very comfortably retired. So are these young boys growing up with financial comfort and always on the go with activities poor blacks & whites cant afford. Just heartbreaking year for me. Lost my dad and a couple of pets as well and found out I have a blood cancer, got Covid, and dealing with several other issues and it’s so easy to just become overwhelmed as all of this is so hard to understand and handle. Its been a tough start of the month, today I was waiting for some bad news I saw coming. I struggled with prayer as I waited for things to finally unfold. Then I remembered this song and rushed here. I lost my mom to Parkinson's on March 2nd and then just two weeks later, my husband of 46 years passed away suddenly. It was been a season of grief, trusting in my faith to get me through and this song is one of several that has helped me. Today is my husband's memorial service and I am trusting so much in Jesus and know in my heart that my hubby has been renewed and restored and is with our Lord and Savior. My mom is at rest and I sam so glad she has had her dream come true of being reunited with those she has loved very dearly. @Kinjo Divorce is never easy mostly because you have invested your life and everything in between in it. However, there is no greater joy nor peace that you will experience except in Jesus. He said, "Behold I make all things new" -Revelation 21-5 and in Hebrews 13:5 "I will never leave you nor forsake you". Hang on to His promises. God is good.

Over the past 14years of my life I’ve learned to Truly Trust Jesus from the depths of my Heart and Soul. I have always Loved and Believed in His Word. I had a stroke December 6, 2017 and 3 months later I was diagnosed March 23, 2018 with Breast Cancer. I know for a fact that Jesus saved my Life because I was asleep and He awakened me and I literally saw Jesus’ Head turned towards me and our eyes made contact. He lifted me up to my feet and I stumbled all the way to the bathroom. I have no reason to ever doubt Jesus’ Love and his Power that He has for me. Oh His Blood, has washed me white as snow from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet. Thank You God, for your Son Jesus Christ. Amen and Amen.
