People triggered over that guy's comment. I have to agree with him completely! It's amazing to see cultures influence each other. Hip hop culture which is originally black and part of black culture influenced kpop a lot! Stop acting as if people in hanboks and drums were rapping. Kpop is not entirely Korean but that's what we love about it. There are Latin, Arab, oriental, black influences and it makes it richer.

believe it or not--kpop is HEAVILY influeuced by black culture... just do your research on it. i really don't understand how some of yall are triggered by the truth he said. just shows how some kpop fans can be so antiblack its disgusting. like just say you hate us and go. anyways stan KARD, ATEEZ, and LOONA

Late as hell but tbh everyone who isn't stupid knows the heavily influenced black sound on kpop, specially now, but kard has a lot more Hispanic influenced sound, i would dare to say even a bit more than black sound, which is what i think some of the comments were talking about, making the difference clear between latino and black cultures in music even on how similar they might get to one another, might help get rid of the people who put us on the same category as "ghetto sound", but anyways, we stan KARD, they deserve more attention

I know I'm late to the party, but DIzz is 100% right. Apart from the fact that BM is from LA as it is - thus growing up surrounded by music from Snoop, Nipsey, Kendrick, and all them - K-Pop culture is immensely influenced by hip-hop culture, which is African-American, full stop. I say this as a Korean dude who grew up listening to Public Enemy and Wu-Tang. Props where props are due.

Nop, it's not... it's just culture. You're just racist. Hip Hop it's came from Disco: and Disco it's mixed from Rock, Country and rythm & Blues. Evidence of your stupidity: you juged me only because I like KPOP.

sis latin music is rooted from african music, not every genre which he NEVER said comes from black people but theres many genres that were started by black people.
@amethystangel235 жыл бұрын
The name reggaeton itself should indicate that it's influences by reggae which is from black people (shout out to Jamaica). Early reggaeton foundation uses a dancehall riddim (dembow riddim) as its base and uses Latin elements in top of it. So all this Latin bs your using to discredit black people needs stop and you need to educate yourself. Caribbean people both Latin and black have used similar instruments and many of the genres are similar. Take that from someone from the Caribbean.
@Written_in_the_Starss6 жыл бұрын

marvioxious1989 (they rap in every song )doesn’t matter what how much genre they put in their song because at the end of the day they are Kpop. Oh there are black in Latin America and there are Latin American that rap when rap was created by black people.
