​@@feelthejoy I've got a fair few Glossier products and I don't think it'd be a problem. They all tend to be very buildable. You can sheer things out but you can also build them up, which is what I really like about Glossier. I do have very pale skin so I accept that they're going to show up more on me, but I also have pigmented lips and I own some darker/brighter colours so I'm not just going for a sheer wash of everything. I think there's often a misunderstanding that because the products are meant to be sheered out that they can't be built up or put on vibrantly, but you don't have to use them as subtle colours! Personally, this is my one or two spot, next to fwee. I promised myself I wasn't going to buy any more blush but I love the Cloud Paint formula and that colour is calling my name...

actually i like the twilight eyeshadow pallete and its understandable that Jacob's colorstory is more on earthtone since he is a werewolf and i think the body oil that is golden i think its a nod for the werewolf. And the 3 guys the voltories its pale with bloody red because they are vampire. As a huge fan of the book and movie this excites me if it has good formula. And just my thought maybe the other body oil which is silvery must be a nod for the vampires since they shine like a diamond when expose to sun. Dont ki ll me guys for enjoying that 😅

I think that products like lip oil have a place I think the problem is that when something is a newer concept every brand jumps on it and the market becomes over saturated with it. I think that the best brands have different products to match consumer preferences.

I'll be honest Robert, I love lip oils and I'm glad more are coming out. I absolutely cannot stand the feeling of lipstick or thick glosses. Lip oils are like a tinted liquid chapstick. Very convenient and comfortable. I don't mind reapplying every hour

Robert I have become an enormous fan of your react channel. I've been binge watching over the weekend. I really enjoy your views and opinions while keeping your emotions in check. They are brief and to the point and you're just giving us the facts. So many other videos of this style are unnecessarily long and the narrator literally appears to be taking things personally and the point becomes lost. The mulitichrome colourpop gel liners are nice. I own a blue to purple to green one, gold to green one, and a burgundy to pink to purple one. Love them. It will take about 6 months for a new trend to start up. Close to Spring things will get better hopefully.

I already bought a lip oil! In my defence, it is a black one, and it is really nice, gives a lovely cool tone to the lips. I instantly put the Fwee in at number one, I love a good, fun highlighter!!! I don’t really love colourpop but that eyeshadow is right up my alley! I suit and love warm tones so much so I love the colour short. And while I think lip oils are over saturated I hope they stay in some capacity because over a Korean lip tint they are my fav.

I really wish that brands would bring back some powder matte or satin blushes (no glitter/shimmer) for 2025. Most of the powder drugstore blushes where I live have been removed from stores to make room for cream/liquid blushes. The ones that we do have are either shimmery, way too pink, or too dark for my white as an ikea shelf skin

I'm with you all the way Robert. I'm tired of lip oils as well. I'm an old gal and I love myself a beautiful creamy matte lipstick in a neutral color that comes in a bullet. I do all my shopping in the drugstore and I find each brand has 30 or 40 colors at least and usually I find one or two that I like. Actually my favorite that I'm using right now is NYX and I'm sure I won't be able to replace it when it's gone. LOL I'm old enough to remember when nudes first came out. The first ones I ever saw were 2 shades released by Revlon. The colors were amazing but they had such a strong perfume scent I couldn't wear them. That tells you how long ago it was. LOL imagine a time when you couldn't purchase any neutral shades. Now that I think about it I saw a lot of Firsts in my day. Haha.

Honestly i'm really excited for the Clio foundation. Their foundation always looked wonderful on my textures oily skin but they had like if you were lucky like 4 shades but normally it was the 3. And just barely I could use that 4th shade if I balanced the color with powders but also only in winter. So here's hoping they have a shade a olive tone person like me can work with.

yes its at least nice to see some korean brands try to expand their ranges. I naturally assumed already it would be a gradual transition or take some trial and error, because lots of the korean brands dont even offer enough shades to suit all korean people (particularly darker korean people) so getting it spot on first try while expanding to multiple races, not something I'm expecting 100% of the time.

I'm actually enjoying the Typology lip oils. Those are the only ones I use. The formula is hydrating and seems to do what it says it does. Also using the Typology lip mask and is hydrating also.

Thank you!!! I'm in no way the darkest color, but I'm certainly in the dark colored skin group. I've a bit of pigmentation on my skin. I would LOVE more pigmented lip oils/glosses. I wear a lot of black, and I would love a semi-opaque black shade. It seems like every single brand wants to just have 150.shades of nude.

I haven't bought any lip oils myself, but i do have a couple of clear travel-sized ones i got in my ipsy bags when i was still subscribed, and i had them unopened for a while until recently when i decided "why not". Ive been using them as a kind of clear gloss topper for when i need some extra shine and hydration on my lips after the shine dissipates from my other lip tints 😅 (most of them stain my lips a bit).

Sorry, Robert, I will always be here for lip oils! I love lip gloss, but I DESPISE how sticky it is. Even "non-sticky" formulas are fucking sticky and it's so annoying for me to wear. I have to be in the right mood, and lip oils are just so comfortable~ that said, I will concede that the pigment isn't there on oils. So I completely get your frustration, but how about we just make more gloss, too? Oils and glosses can coexist! Lol

I think it would be so fun if at the end of the video Robert would tell us if he could have moved the different releases into the different numbers! I went through deep depression about 10 years ago, for two years straight. I went to work everyday and no one knew that I would go home right after and cry all night. That glossier black cherry should've swapped with the sticks that claim to be multi use but look like literally just foundation stick in a pretty limited range. Other than that it's all pretty aligned. Agreed with a lot of your assessments.
