As a Ruby main, the 5% spellvamp and Skill 1 slow duration doesn't really affect her gameplay that much, just equip Bloodlust Axe and Oracle with the fighter emblem, she'll still vamp full health from a minion wave. Her damage doesn't change, so I recommend building her either full-ATK or semi tank with 8K health.

I cant believe they nerf her, this is outrageous, down with the ppl that made her popular!!1! 🤬 Ok jokes aside, the nerf was a measly slap on the wrist xD if they did the full removal then maybe that would’ve hurt but since they only took away half then its not as bad + the 1st skill slow reduced to 1s is fine cuz its spammable anyways. Aswell as that Ruby at the start of new emblem system was indirectly buffed due to the new fighter emblem and FoB talent giving her massive spellvamp at the start compared to old one, then also later when new Waraxe was introduced is when Ruby truly started to become a little broken xD so this is in all a much needed thing to reduce her ban and pick rate so that my bbg is staying as a balanced hero :’3

If I could make a change to Ruby, in comparison to Modern Heroes, I would give her the Brody effect in that she can walk while she does her skill 1(like Brody's basic attack, or Gord's skill 2) into her jumping passive. Unless you play her, you never realize that she pauses before she does it, and it feels very sluggish.
