The vocal similarity to merritt is what really stood out to me. I play ukulele and I know the wide range of voices and styles it can cater too...I would have appreciated this Dent song if he had taken it somewhere a little more original. Of course we are influenced by the music we listen to, but I think we should try to do something new with those influences. Here, it seemed like he was too closely mirroring Merrit. Believe me, I do not envy this guy.I just think he has room for improvement.
