Don't be fooled, I may be speaking without a script but I beat myself for something I forgot after every video. Haha :)

Another fantastic, informative video. Thanks Max the Dad!! Lol My son said that you sound like a voice actor. Lol (He walked in the room while your video was playing). Have a good night!

I've only been to 1 ,its was mostly a detox facility, late 90s. , and it was a state run kind, there were both men and women, with myriad of different addictions, even gambling and shopping all the way to coke, and heroin, and everything in between, is was both terrible and good at the same time. My experience was pretty similar to what u went,a hospital type setting. It was really ar the beginning on addictionology, and the separation of mental Illness and addiction. I agree, I believe every family struggles with addiction of some kind or another. Thank you for the video 😊

Thanks Candice. The study of addiction has come a long way, glad I struggled with it when I did and not in the dark ages, when they lobotomized drug addicts(less than 100 years ago). I'm sure rehab has changed a bit since even the late 90s but the hospital format has been the one I've seen most often. Good and bad experiences, like you said. Good to see you. :)

That last rehab sounds like it has soild advice for daily sobriety. Maybe you could talk about that sometime. It does suck that it’s pricy.

Would be happy to, just to be sure I'm hearing you correctly, you're referring to the one that was completely 12 step oriented in Minnesota?
