Been born into a Christian home brought up in church doesn't mean you love the lord. When the bible says' Man's heart is desperately wicked who can know it' the interpretation is deep. Loving God comes from the nature of your heart, you love him intentionally. You can only show that you love God by obeying his word which will count for your righteousness and you can't obey what you don't know, then you have you have to read and meditate on his word. The human heart ( carnal or spiritual is wide) so we need to guide it jealously. I pray our love for God is pure and not by what we stand to gain. Amen. These song just got me thinking.
