If you're going to use Peer into the Abyss, you might as well play Underworld Dreams. It does not need to survive one turn after Peer since it kills the opponent on the spot, and it will start hitting them on turn 3.

I've actually been working on a troll deck in EDH (Kess, Dissident Mage) that uses Tergrid + Hive Mind + One With Nothing. If you can stick a Hive Mind, this lets you play Tergrid + One with Nothing for 6 mana, forcing all players to discard their hands and putting everything your opponents lose into play under your control; this is absolutely brutal if you have enough mana to also fire off a Wheel of Fortune before you cast One with Nothing (Kess lets you play either from the graveyard) which causes everybody to discard their hands and draw 7, then discards them all again. Alternately, you can just win with either Pact of Negation, Slaughter Pact, or Pact of the Titan. It's not a very effective deck, but it's hilarious when it works. In historic, this could be a fun combo with Dragon Mage (not good, but fun). You could theoretically stick a Dragon Mage, then play Tergrid + Peer into the Abyss so you can force the opponent to draw half their deck, then discard their hand and draw 7 more off a Dragon Mage attack. This would be FAR easier with Fires of Invention, as you could play the Fires + the Dragon on one turn, then get the free Tergrid + Peer the following turn, but that has been banned so it isn't an option.

That was a viable combo deck in rotation-proof standard before the Zendikar release. Went to mythic with it. Then, rogues and skyclave apparition happened, and that was the end of it. You can also do Teferi's Tutelage - Peer for the lulz. One-hit mill combo.

Ohh just thought black and another color (probably blue) so you can give sorceries flash or be able to cast them whenever you would cast an instant. Or you could play a combo where you can foretell all cards and then for tell it so it's a little cheaper and then the other card that allows you to foretell on any turn. this way they have no capability of playing any of the cards because you'll wait until after they tap while their mana or tap most of their mana and are about to intern and just as it clicks for your turn you go ahead and instant cast draw half your deck so they instantly discard after that.

I like the idea, but there are better combinations. Drawing half your deck with Terferi's Tutelage mills them out and/or causing a point of damage for each card they draw is fairly lethal and doesn't risk giving them time to recover. I only bring this up because I've been watching a lot of MTG youtubers and for all the fun strats, it can sometimes can a long while to actually close out a game.

So I adjusted my concept for a righteous Valkyrie nuke deck. I replaced black with red, to run shadowflame conjuring instead, which makes the whole combo a lot safer, since you don't play a creature until you are ready to kill. So the combo idea is to get out one copy of shadowflame conjuring, and 3 or more copies of anointed procession (One mythos of illuna on it will make 3). Then play righteous valkrie and pay the shadowflame conjuring cost. This will give 8 hasty righteous valkries until the end of turn. The life gain will trigger on all of them, giving you an absurd amount of health (Somewhere over 100, depending on how many triggers it takes to get you over 26). Then each Valkrie will buff all the others by +2/2, making each of them a 20/22 flyer with haste. Swing with the 8 hasty ones for 160 damage.

You have to try this combo with Syr Konrad the grim + peer into the abyss + Tergrid god of fright. Unless they can deal with both Konrad and Tergrid at the same time you're either going deal a lot of damage or get half their deck (or both!)

Like, you think this is a meme, but this is basically a ramp deck, and Tegrid and Peer are both monocolored... so if you Emergent Ultimatum for Tegrid, Peer and Alrdund's Epiphany you can possibly force them into this lock: they either give you the combo, or you get one of them and an extra turn to play the other one (maybe add Grim Tutor to the deck as well, you should have 10 mana to go Tutor into Peer in a ramp deck). Sultai just got interesting...
